I feel ya brotha.. same for me last 4 Weeks of doing normal and hard each week and still no boots... I made an alt the same class as my main just to run the raid for both characters just to get 30... no go.... all my clan members have all been 30 for awhile now and all their alts are 30... and im still here sitting at 29...
I honeslty wouldnt mind a token system for completing checkpoints... Receive a token after completing a checkpoint (for the first time in the week) in the raid ... make the armor cost as much as about 2 weeks worth of raiding and have a vendor in the tower selling raid gear.. That to me would at least give a light at the end of the tunnel if you're just like us and having the most horrible luck... I mean for me.. its like ive been 29 for 4 weeks on 2 characters... every week i wait for Tuesday just to see if i get boots... 2 normal 2 hard raids later.. no boots ... its quite the shaft...

I definitely agree with you, having tokens or some way of choosing your reward would be awesome Leave the shards/energy chests as they are, but stop giving out chatterwhite and give us a choice; hell, I'll even take separate weapon and armor tokens, just as long as I can use them to get what weapons and armor I need.

Yeah, I did the exact same thing. I have two warlocks. All of my numbers above include both characters. It's been painful. haha I love the idea of earning something (marks, credits, etc...) and then cashing them in. I've heard other people say that that's what they do in WoW. I hope bungie is considering something like this.

Outstanding idea. I have run the VOG 8 times, 2 on hard, still no boots for me! Players I have taken through on their first run got all they needed to hit level 30.
