A [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11914=]canary[/url] error code is from console or network hardware malfunction. Do a cold reboot and try to log in again. Although to be honest hotel WiFi can be pretty wonky, I wouldn't be surprised if it still doesn't work. Sorry.

No worries, appreciate it! Cold reboot didn't work. Quite frankly, I'm surprised to achieve an open NAT in a hotel and still have Destiny not work. Apparently there's a chance the hotel is filtering/blocking the data for Destiny (other online games work). Bungie said they will contact the hotel and work with them to get their network Destiny friendly...hopefully before I'm out of here!
