What use are they going to be?
-
Isn't it an emulator for 360 games? Or are they talking about an online market place of emulated games?

You're a computer guy, right? You should know you can't patch hardware.
-
What if they don't patch the hardware? I mean, 360 games are just on DVD, right? Which the Xbox One can read, but not play the game on there because of no backwards compatibility. All they need to do is figure out how to make the Xbox One recognize what game is on the disc and then fire up the emulator for that game.
-
They could, but that won't make them money.

Editado por Progo: 4/7/2014 6:28:59 PMWell, I know that the power PC architecture is crazy hard to emulate, but I assumed that the discs would be compatible as DVD storage devices, like if you insert them into a PC, it just can't run the programs.
-
Maybe so. But this is MS. They'll obviously go with the route that gets them money.
-
True that lol.

A great 360 emulator already exists anyway.
Its's called an Xbox 360.
