Has Any One Here Done Ramadan?
Obviously this is a question more towards for those who are not Muslim.
While I am atheist or believe in the FSM I have recently gotten an interest in the month of Ramadan and it's objective to fast. Although I wouldn't spend the time praying, it would still be a sort of challenge for me that I would one day like to under go.

So, has anyone that is not Muslim tried fasting for a whole month? If so, how was it? Also, for those on here that are Muslim and do it every year, how was the first time you went through it? Any tips to make it easier to bare for a first timer?

Don't do too many energy consuming activities while you fast, but keep yourself busy enough so that food, sex/porn, etc. won't be on your mind. Edit: I just noticed the date. Oops

Not personally but I have a Muslim friend who's done the fasting many times. He seems really out of it and acts salty cause he has no energy. I would not recommend it.

Not too bad, but there were some pretty ridiculous times (like one where the water went off for us at the tutoring center I work in during Iftar, which led to me and my girlfriend pretty much dying- I'm Godzilla so I brought us back but still). Last, most important stretch now.

1 RespuestaIf you need to go out a lot and it's really hot, make sure to drink plenty of water at each meal before sunrise and after sunset. Dehydration can be a risk. Where I live, my fast lasts from 5:00 AM until we open at around 8:30 PM. This will differentiate depending on where you live. If you really want to be exact, you can look up the Fajr and Maghrib prayer times for your area. You will eat around Fajr and then you will fast until Maghrib each day for 30 days. You may experience headaches/migraines due to a change in eating patterns. Also, you may wish to consult with a doctor if you need to take any daily medications or have any health conditions. Because your meals are spread so far apart during Ramadan, you may experience some weight gain due to over eating at the end of the day, but this honestly varies from person to person. Good luck on this endeavor.

I've never did Ramadan before but I tell you what I can RAMADANCE UNCEUNCEUNCEUNCE All jokes and slightly offensive comments aside, nah. Although it sounds like it may be kinda fun, in a way.
