-
It would be considered pantheism because God=universe. Different from god being omnipotent, which is God being everywhere at once. What OP is saying is almost as if the belief's current state is Pantheism, but it was previously some type of monotheism. If you think about it, with Pantheism, there is almost no purpose in believing in "god", because you can observe him in a scientific way.
-
Nah, i think you have that completely wrong, OP is implying a personal god, exploded and is part of everything, i think pantheism, at least from when i read the god delusion, implies that nature and science and reveling in its majesty is the god in it self, but their is no god of any kind.
-
But has OP's god not ceased to exist as a personal god, considering he exploded? Normally, when something explodes, it changes condition.
-
Im assuming he is a practitioner of one of the big three, so it being an omnipotent god, no, it isnt dead in any way, just changed form.
-
That form being the universe?
-
Yes, you could say that, but if the god is omnipotent, then it would still be existing, there for a god. Its already implied within the big three that god exists in everything. Pantheism, as i understand, has no actual deity, but it refers to its god as nature, and the natural marvels of reality, there is no god to pray to, or to worship.
