Pantheon is cool… but the rewards suck
It’s an activity for the most dedicated raiders… if your doing pantheon you most likely have all or nearly all raid loot… so… giving out that exact same loot just… is redundant to say the least.
Like would it be so bad to even give out a unique cosmetic armour set or ornament for raid exotics or just… anything? Like a title is nice but it’s not really enough.
You can’t just make an activity for the people most skilled at that category and then offer the same loot that drops already from that category. Even just like a brave ornament for raid weapons or something would have made sense.

6 RespuestasPantheon is pretty much just for the emblem if you’re in the top 10% of raiders. Raid completions are still under 20% of the D2 player base (number that’s completed a raid at any point). Day 1’s for individual accounts are lower. Master Raids are below that.

I wish they would have given us reissued weapons from raids that have been taken out like leviathan or eater crown spire etc.. it’s for new lights mostly but even the I don’t understand the artificial difficulty that they smack them with to get said things so i just don’t understand who this is for -
6 RespuestasMatchmaking should be optional and have an on and off switch. It is literally that simple. I don’t understand why Bungie always take the long way around things versus a short cut that makes just as much sense.

14 RespuestasI don’t raid much so this is awesome! All I have to do is a 35 minute activity and I get a bunch of raid weapons I’ve never gotten before and I can choose the an exotic at the end of it!! Big win for me!

That being said, aspects have never been too appealing to me because the chance of getting a good roll isn’t great. I’d rather just have the crafted version of the exact perks I want. All the adepts I got this week had meh rolls and I don’t need any of the exotics, but it was fun and I got a few red borders I still need. I’ll see how far I can get and maybe I’ll get a good adept along the way. This activity is a win to me even if I don’t complete the hardest iteration. I think it’s a great thing for people that only raid a small amount as they will get a few adepts, some red borders, and an exotic. Which will make them more inclined to raid more and play more in general.

I think Pantheon is for new or solo players to get into raiding, since we won't defeat the witness in the campaign , and you are going to have to do the raid to finish your guardians story -

It's great for new players who don't have the weapons yet, and it lets the more experienced raiders compete for the fastest time Who cares if you have all the weapons? Just play for fun like a regular dude

Agreed. Would have been nice to get catalyst for the exotics that I’m missing. Maybe they could have added shiny ornaments for the raid weapons. I do think it’s great that red boxes do drop from the encounters though.

I mean...what were you expecting? Reskin and reuse is literally the bungie motto, expecting them to make anything new that they cant sell in eververse, as cheap and lazy DLC, or put behind tedious activities and horrible "RNG" is like expecting a fish to climb a tree; it cant and you look silly asking it to lol bungies proven they lost all creativity and skill when High Noon and Vicarious Visions left with activision lol those 2 were the only studios that really cared about D2 from the get go. -
That would be like putting the brave weapons in comp. And don't nobody want that!
