The quest for season 22 is just completely missing for me, and the Athenaeum portal never opened. I had made the mistake of not collecting the legacy toil, and trouble quest from the archive if it was ever in there for me, and moved right into way of the witch, a quest I got after visiting the helm for the first time. After completing way of the witch, then spire, and seeing Eris transform the next step never appeared. I have an indication I have something to collect in the Athenaeum, but no portal. I've checked the quest archive, as well as all my quests. It simply is not there, nor is the portal. Tried joining a friends Athenaeum, only for it to bug it out for them too. I could walk into their portal, but neither of us could access any of the vendor/ quest tables inside. Said person has already long since finished season of the Witch. I've even tried making a new character, and checking the quest archive, and the helm. No such luck. I don't suppose there is a way for bungie to add the quest to my account or fix this somehow? I am honestly at a loss for what to do, and was really looking forward to playing it/ wanted to get the weapons crafted.
