Can't Disable Cross Play
My Steam account is linked to my Bungie account and I play on it daily and have all the DLC, I know all the account info to recover [i]that one[/i], but as for my PS account it uses an email I cannot access anymore because my phone number has been changed over 5yrs ago, and the email was requested for deletion years ago.
I believe I can authenticate the Steam and Xbox accounts, but my PS email is gone. My progress comes from the Xbox account and if they are unlinked I will lose my years of progress which is a cost I'm willing to pay.
Contacting Bungie directly for a matter like this doesn't seem possible at this moment so I am posting here where I was guided.
My goal is to unlink my Steam account so I could link it with my new Xbox account that I have full access to or disable Cross Save altogether.

Cross-save can't be cancelled (and therefore accounts can't be unlinked) until you authenticate all of the accounts. You'd have to work with Sony to recover the PSN account details. You don't need the phone number or access to the original email address, you can use all sorts of other things to help Sony support reunite you with the account. Knowing that original number, original email address, any payment or personal details, etc, can let them link it to a new email account. Unfortunately if Sony is unable to assist in recovering the old PSN account, you will be unable to cancel cross-save. Bungie does not forcibly cancel it or unlink accounts under any circumstance.

Bungie wont forcibly deactivate cross-save. If you cannot access the account you will need to work with PSN to regain access If you cant regain access then your setup is permanently stuck as-is.
