Cross Save Does Not Work
Bungie,
Please HELP!
I have a Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation profile. I am logged in and authenticated with my Steam account (1 character). I am logged in and authenticated with my Xbox account (3 characters - this is the most important account to me). When I attempt to log in to PlayStation, there is a Bungie error screen that comes up to advise me that Bungie was unable to authenticate. This is ok because there are ZERO characters on that account.
Even though 100% of characters are accounted for, their services logged-in and authenticated, I am not allowed to move to the character selection part of Cross Save.
Can you enable my profile to like... proceed? That would be super cool.

Hi there. Do you intend to play on Playstation with your Xbox characters? If not, there is no need to have the PS account linked to your profile and you can unlink it in Settings > Account Linking. That would allow you to continue with the Cross Save. If you do intend to play on Playstation, are you able to sign into playstation.com with the login you're using to authenticate the Playstation account? If not, you may be entering the wrong email or password. If you have no issue logging into the PS website, try authenticating with a different browser.

why are you trying to add playstation? do you plan on playing D2 there? the individual platforms and whether each has characters isn't relevant. cross save does not merge the accounts with characters into one account with all the characters. regardless, bungie is telling you that the authentication through sony has failed. verify you are logging into the correct playstation account with the correct credentials.
