Uhm, I'd check BattlEye (is it allowed to run free, so that the AV doesn't analyze it?), your disk controller (drivers up-to-date?), Windows updates to begin with.

Everything is up to date and the game is even installed in a M.2 SSD. I will check Battle Eye but I doubt it is that since the spikes in CPU usage happen during all loadings.
-
Do you also have a normal hard disk? Or SSD?
-
Yes, I have one SATA SSD (where the windows is installed) and one SATA HDD.
-
Do you have space to install the game on the SSD instead?
-
Yes, I can try to move there and see if it still happens.
-
Okay, you go and try that and report back.

-
Hm, are you wired or do you use WiFi?
-
Ethernet

I still think it's either a problem with AV/firewall or interaction with a background app, but it's hard to pinpoint it.

Yeah. AV/Firewall have the .exe fully whitelisted. I have also run a memtest without any issues. I have also run a few other games in the same conditions as Destiny 2 and none of them have the same issue, where it spikes my CPU to 100% while loading.
