Well we know that the Black Fleet must’ve been in Sol at some point prior to the Traveler’s arrival, given that Nezerac was worshipped as a God in some distant pre-golden age era.

And its why on other occasions they are called the Black Fleet. We dont know why Nezerac was worshiped, it could be he was named after that. It doesn’t make sense why a ship from the fleet would be there and not kill everyone

And yet we have a ship buried on Europa that laid dormant for who knows how long. Can’t use the Moon one as an example anymore since that was changed in Plunder. Also highly doubt that Nezerac was named after some random god-like figure from Earth’s past. Disciples are not made from some cloning vat here, they’re individuals the Witness has moulded into the role. They have pre-existing names and identities. Did you ever consider that Nezerac could’ve been doing exactly what Rhulk failed to, advancing a species to the point where they would destroy themselves and leave one who might be a Disciple behind?

  • Or that he changed his name to fit a god from a civilization? Fundamentally the pyramid ships are not pyramids they are tetrahedrons, they are called Pyramid ships because we initially called them that and if thats how we reacted its fair to say the characters ingame would say the same thing. If we called them tetrahedron ships theres no doubt the ingame name would have been called that. The shape of the ships are not pyramids, if the pyramids were based on these ships they would have a triangular base instead of a square base. It seems people forget geometry

  • And it seems you forget that you’re responding to me and not the OP. Did I ever make the claim that the Pyramids of Egypt were modelled after the Black Fleet? I didn’t, I made the observation that Nezerac has been mentioned in texts that predate the Golden Age. He even had Tombs erected throughout Sol, one of which Drifter visited. Where he found a relic, much like the ones we found within Plunder. Not to mention why would Nezerac decide to name himself after some long dead God of a forgotten religion instead of one more represented at the time? Where would he have even dug up such a text? Why would his Glaive, gifted to him by Rhulk, be named after it? Seems a lot more ridiculous than the idea that a Pyramid came through Sol long before the Golden Age. I also notice you gave up responding to our other discussion.

  • We dont have a other discussion but okay I literally scrolled through my notifications you aint there. I know im responding to you and im including my whole argument that the pyramid ships didn’t influence anything which involve Nezerac You ask why would he name himself after a old god? Literally why would he name himself after a recent one? There is no reason specifically why he would do either but considering its known that the Witness wants to kill everything why would Nezerac not kill the people who worshiped him. It wasn’t ordered by the witness to keep them like the Hive were. You make claims but claims can be easily made about the opposite. Provide actual reasoning other then “why would he want to be named after a old god” literally we name things in the current day about pagan gods which were “born” thousands of years ago. Your argument makes no sense when mine is rooted in logic on how the Witness runs things and Nezerac was a disciple who followed the wims of the witness

Did the Witness not send Rhulk to shape a species to wage war upon itself in order for a Disciple prospect or another slave race to be born? The very mission that Rhulk failed by exterminating the entire species and was punished by being sent to Savathûn’s Throne World to watch over her? To quote the Witness from the Resonant Fury Mask lore tab:
”Your presence shall raise no more concern than that of a speck of dust blown off course by a distant sun. And you shall now this people to our service, just as we enlightened you. Your value shall be their value.”
There’s also the matter of the K1 artifact and Clarity. How do you suppose those relics of Darkness wound up in Sol if no Disciple or Pyramid Ship ever stepped foot in the system before the Collapse, hmm?
