Which ones better? Give a good reason! I say fake, only because I got a cat that would eat the tree and drink the tree water.

I feel like a fake tree is probably better for the environment, under the assumption it gets reused for several years in a row. More economical, too.

A real tree...that I've cut down.

How about... a pine scented candle. Pros -You set it on fire without burning the house down or scaring scaring the neighbors. -It's easy. -It still smells kinda christmassy. -I've never caught flack for having it out after new year. Cons -It's not as spectacular.

At the moment fake…. Surprised it’s still standing misplaced a foot so I had to use cardboard for the 3rd leg.

A fake one. It's more convenient. I can use it for multiple years, it doesn't shed nearly as much as a real one, don't need to worry about keeping it alive, and it disassembles very easily. The current one I have also has lights already on it, making it easier to decorate.

Real, douglas fir tree, it smells amazing and requires minimal decoration, perfect...

Fake, causd my mother and brother alergic
-
Fake, especially if you can take it apart and fold it down for storage. Plus they don't leave needles everywhere.
-
Fake, call me a hippie or whatever; but I hate the idea of cutting down trees and displaying them in our home all the while starving them to death of water (if not properly cared for) Even if the tree is cared for; it gets thrown out and left to die. So a fake for me, personally. (Sorry I’m really baked and don’t mean to sound passive-aggressive or rude. I just hate the idea of killing a tree for Christmas :( ((or Thanksgiving; those ppl be wildin’)

Always Fake That's horrible to kill trees just for a tradition
-
I prefer the fake ones. They are easier to transport, don’t shed pine leaves, and easier to maintain in general.

As someone whose trying to determine what to do for the holidays, I’ve been leaning towards fake…. That way, it’s easier to hang upside down so my furry overlords can’t try to turn it into their 20th tree….

I'll take a fake one. No pine needles all over the place, no sap getting on my fingers, no sawing off the top to make it fit, shall I go on? Sure I like the real thing, but the fake trees are A LOT more convenient.

I used to have real trees my whole life, just because it was tradition. Then 7 or 8 years ago my wife convinced me to get a fake. We dropped a few hundred dollars (US) on a really nice 6-foot-tall fake tree, which seemed like a lot at the time compared to a live tree. I'll never go back to live trees. This thing is awesome. It assembles in like 5 minutes and the lights are already permanently attached. Looks real but no dropped needles, no sap, no watering. When the holidays are over, it detaches into 3 pieces and goes into a big duffel bag that's easy to carry around or store. And we've had it long enough that it's paid for itself as compared to a live tree every year. Definitely recommend the fake.

Unfortuninately i have to stick with fake, as my brother and mother are allergic...

Can't go wrong with L'il Debbie

Editado por pValue2010: 11/28/2022 1:38:54 PMInfestations, fires, needles everywhere, the hassle of bringing it in, keeping it alive then disposing it… no thanks. Just give me a 1 ft tall plastic thing that resembles a tree.

Real. Family tradition to go and cut down our own tree. We have a few smaller fake trees however, cause we are crazy and about Christmas.
-
Fake. Too lazy to take care of an actual tree.
-
Fake. They're harder to accidentally set on fire.
-
Used to use real till about 6 years ago when the fake ones actually started looking real and not horribly fake
-
-
Real, it’s my family tradition we’ve cut down our own trees for forty years

https://www.realsimple.com/holidays-entertaining/holidays/real-christmas-tree-vs-artificial-christmas-tree It depends. We have one fake tree and a real one. For the real one it looks better but you have to take care of it. Before you set it up make sure you keep it outside in cold weather. Only bring it inside once you can set it up and water it regularly. When picking a Christmas tree they are going to look smaller laying down but look taller when stood up you also need to stretch the branches once set up. You also may want to make you wear gloves when handling the tree, it is sharp. You will also have to pick up any pine needles that fall off. If you have pets I'd recommend a fake tree so they don't poke themselves or choke on a pine needle.
