The mm is a joke tbh, I'm consistently in teans with 2-3% win chance, can barely move without dying. First ever game of trials, all my opposition went flawless, next game had X6 gilded flawless guy who got like 20 kills.

I mean, I'm sorry that's your experience and I'm definitely not coming from the side that Trials is perfect or doesnt need changes but OP is literally whining because they can't compete. That's not a mode problem. One look at the trials report and you can see why they're struggling. Like not trying to be mean or crap on people. I'm no god myself, but if you're generally not good at pvp, you're likely going to struggle in trials. It'd be like a guy who struggles with Nightfalls going into Master raids and calling them a joke when he can't beat them. It's kinda supposed to be difficult and not easily obtained by people who aren't very skilled in the mode.

Oh of course, yeah his argument is whack. I don't want flawless, I don't need it or want anything I just hopped in as I needed 1 more triumph for the 75 seasonal things for 4000 dust n figured this would be better than comp, and I noticed it's dropping those boxes every 4-5 games so decided to stay playing but I can see why it pushes people away. The game makes you feel like you're being pushed there to be good for much better players, like even putting 1 good guy on my tean would make the game more fun, losing 0-5 is awful, you don't get loot, rep, nothing, it's a literal time waste.

Well yeah Bungie does want lower skilled players in the playlist. Otherwise it turns into a sweatfest and then nobody wants to play which is where we're at now. It's a hard thing to balance for sure. I think the whole mode could definitely use some changes but idk what kinda changes they can make that'll both populate the playlist AND reward players fairly for the time investment vs actually winning/going flawless.

As you where typing that, played a game that started 3v2, I'm in the 2 obviously, other team had 2 gilded flawless inviz hunters, of course 5-0, no rep, not even glimmer, didn't even see a player lol. 1 thing is for sure, I'll never touch trials again, zero point.
