We've already exceeded the community goal, and the Eliksni Quarter still looks horrible. With millions of coins received, you'd think we could do better than some stairs, bar table, and a tiny town hall. It's like having a million dollar budget, for the homeless, but we buy them socks.
-
You would have to change The actual Raid infrastructure its taken from and that ain't going to happen.
-
Really makes you wonder wtf bungie was thinking. I feel like I could make more substantial improvements in 5 mins using something like the settlement building interface in Fallout 4. Everything was so basic, few plants, set of stairs, benches, some banners/streamers, basically threw a few extra pre-made assets in there with zero real effort. Like why even bother dude....
-
The Slums of Eliksni.
-
Honestly its pretty lame. I would rather watch the sparkly glowy Traveler repair itself again for my Calamity Protocol emblem, Everyone was all dancing and emoting the whole time, that was fun.
-
From another reply I made What were people expecting? A castle to be built? Gold lined tapestries and Crystal chandeliers? A landscaping makeover? They created housing. Put together a social area to bring their community together with the test of the tower. They're forming community leaders to govern themselves. I mean...I know there's people that berate Bungie for anything they try to do but I think people are being a bit dramatic.
-
I'm in California, so the Eliksni quarter looks like your typical $2,800/month apartment in the middle of the ghetto - which translated means, it's pretty luxurious
-
Never leave spider in charge of upgrades ever... He is greedy. He spent our 400 mil on crap and stole the rest.
-
Rome wasn't built in a day.
-
The rest goes to a people bridge that crosses a dry stream bed out in the middle of nowhere in Nevada!
-
Oh, they could. But Bungie can't.
-
*adds nothing but one stair, small flag, small garden on quater* *Misraaks is full of glee* What the hell.
-
all the tech in the world, and they can't have some carpenters build freaking houses in the quarter..... just more lazy design in this game. they would have been better off if at the end mithrax was questioning why everything still looks like crap....ya know move the story a bit. but noooo he loves it. they prolly had an one new person do this, heck i wouldn't be surprised if this was an old design for the quarter they had lying around and just unlocked it

Editado por Zoidberg: 11/27/2022 5:27:24 PMLooks like a homeless camp that someone put stairs in. Put some pretty plants in. Paid the leader to speak fancy words, to make things look better than they are. All the while, the rich get favors off to the side. How accurate to how the U.S. treats its refugees, and homeless. Well done bungie 🤣🤣🤣

Editado por Avelithe: 11/25/2022 7:01:30 PMIt’s honestly embarrassing. And hearing Mithrax praise the Eliksni and Guardians working together makes it even more embarrassing. Don’t get me wrong—I like the idea of the event—but Bungie could and should have done better. 400 million coins for stairs, some blankets, a few benches and a podium, corn stalks… idk, man, I like the idea, but for the amount we paid, there SHOULD have been more. I see Eliksni housing, but the rubble is still there. Someone told me the rubble got cleared away, but when I looked, I still see a cracked foundation. We polished a turd and rolled it in some glitter, but it’s still a turd. It’s like someone said… minimal effort yielded minimal results. We got what we paid for in 26 hours after people cheesed, so. 🤷♀️ What I’m HOPING for is that there will be a story beat where Spider is caught stowing away the Coins for himself, Mithrax gets angry and wrings the coins out of Spider’s fat neck rolls, and we end up putting in more fun and interesting things in the Quarters. Not this… half-finished… whatever this is. We could do better. Ffs.

I mean isn't it also an obvious sign of lacking content when some decoration for a reissued area are sold to us seperately by making it an "event"? They literally reused the scourge of the past raid as a location for paid seasonal content and then they don't even decorate it properly in the first place to make us work for some weird housing features. All that timegated aswell. LOL. This company is just laughable now. I personally will cancel my pre order on lightfall for now. The games direction overall is just not worth my money.
-
I had zero expectations, but still got dissapointed lol
-
This Eliksni thing was just a way for Bungle to take away our planetary materials, instead of them being converted into something useful.
-
Hi, we understand that you're disappointed with the minimal changes that were made to the Eliksni Quarter. However, have you looked in the Eververse store today ? That is where the vast majority of the time and effort goes. we really do put heart and soul into that. We'd really appreciate it if you could spend some time looking at the hundreds of excellent emotes, stunning sparrows and ships, gorgeous ghost shells, perfect projections and outstanding ornaments we have available for purchase. Many of them are only available with silver, so you don't need to worry about freeloaders getting hold of them with bright dust.

It is interesting that either Mithrax thinks far too highly of their “town square” with 4 benches and a lectern or the dialog was written expecting a very large, auditorium like space. Like a Greek amphitheater. I’d feel ripped off if the community didn’t cheese the event to finish it in less than 36 hours. It’s kind of one of those situations of “so bad it’s funny”. Especially with the dialogue making him seem so grateful and impressed. …they have a tractor now! 🤣🤣 For what??
-
Making content is hard. Spend more silver and it will get less hard. Aaaaany day now....
-
Reminds me of that one $1.7 million single person bathroom in Sanfrancisco.
-
It's like that single toilet in San Fran that cost the city millions.
-
It does lol, if this is the best we can offer, then maybe the witness has won
-
Modern day greed is what’s going on with the Eliksni quarter. The last city has enough programmable currency to build the Eliksni an entire town if they wanted to. But no, because whoever is in charge wants to take all the donations for themselves. Zavala needs to investigate, because this is unacceptable! 😂😂😂😂

Yeah, for the amount of coins we've dropped, they should have a highrise apartment building with an indoor pool, a small school for the hatchlings, and hydroponic greenhouses. We can do better!
