Every time I die in my solo flawless duality, because of stomp. Kind of sucks.

How many people would pay 20K Silver for a mod that blocked all stomp attacks from damaging you?
-
Honestly Im getting tired of stomp attacks, and just attacks in general being the same across factions. Maybe Im asking for too much but I wish the Red Legion and Calus' Loyal had different attacks and different weaponry to mix things up. You see these Cabal symbols of 2 guards using glaives, why not incorporate that for Calus' faction? Stomps? How about only overly giant enemies like ogres have a stomp? Make some unique melee animations for other, smaller bosses.

Grow a few inches or keep distance

POV: You get mad because you know that boss stomp deals a lotta damage and you still making him to stomp you and deals a lot of damage because you are doing a run where you cannot fail and you arent using certain close ranged builds.
-
Knowing bosses stomp, at what point will people stop trying to play patty cake with them and be shocked they died?
-
The boop on the bellkeepers in the new dungeon is a bit OTT! I was booped into a wall and died... qhile I was playing pvp!!
-
Use Lament and block the stomp. Easy.
-
They added the burn on stomp that last for ever. Probably the worst thing in this game. Annoying AF.

don't jump, or counter the stomp with a melee . simple

Editado por Illuminary: 6/25/2022 12:48:34 PMLove all the "sword swing or melee when the boss stomps" solutions like that's a valid solution for an over used corny, tired, contrived mechanic from a company devoid of all strategy. Sword hit reg against the bosses is buns too because the first two zig zag and bug out all over the place. You either can't hit them for crap or you do big damage. Also love shooting the bell but Caiatl ignores it and continues to phase through so there isn't a dps phase. But, my personal favorite is teleporting into the nightmare realm for dps but immediately being booped off by bell keepers before my screen fully loads in. Once my teammate gets his sword and we do the catalyst I don't think I'll do it again. The bugs in the dungeon are bullshit. Can't wait for no trailer for S18 so we can all be let down by arc 3.0 again.

There is two ways to work around the stomp mechanic. Number 1 just don’t be close to the boss so he won’t stomp. Number 2 as he is about to stomp punch him as he stomps so you don’t go flying back and die to hitting something too hard or stomped off the map
Every time I die in my solo flawless duality, because of stomp. Kind of sucks.
Sup bro, use a sword to attack him. Works for me to prevent being blown up!
-
May be a jet pack exploding too. Fusion rifle those dudes for no jet packs.
-
Melee attacks and sword guards both work really well. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to solo it, but those tricks have been working by for years. Annoying but manageable. Phalanxes have been and continue to be way worse in my opinion.

Yeah failing the solo flawless because of these stomps is annoying. Dying to the bell whilst being within the circle coming back from the nightmare side, full health, no one around. Dying at the final boss because the game teleports us away from the platform we are on into either where the anti-barrier is or right in between the bell keepers who insta double boot us into oblivion. Another annoying glitch/bug is in the dunk animation, how confusing it is to look for direction. Overcoming bugs/glitches/bad design is part of this game, we generally deal with it, but it feels like the only challenge with Duality.

Editado por michael: 6/24/2022 7:13:50 PMStay close enough to be able to melee right as the boss is about to stomp, the magnetism from the melee will override the stomp and you will stay in place, always been a solution. You still take damage but no instadeath from collision or misadventure
