SBMM does not create lag! No match maker affects the internet that way. Why are you all stuck on this idiotic idea? The lag is due to Bungie's servers, that is why you still see lag and disconnects today. The lag at the time they implemented SBMM was not the fault of the MM.
The only way to have a fair and balance MM is use SBMM. CBMM will always result in mismatches and games that are so far out of wack that you end with a mercy rule.
Being a bad player like 0.2 kinda player; I like being on the losing side of a mercy rule, it makes the match go faster and I get the only thing I play for faster, the pinnacle. I can't learn to be better if every time I see a red player I am dead before I get a shot off. Until CBMM is removed I play only for the one reward that advances my gear.

Lmao. SBMM system it’s self didn’t cause lag. The lag was caused by having to be matched with players from a greater distance in order to find matching skill levels. This would be less of an issue if Bungie had servers that we connected to like most shooters but instead it uses P2P connection.

Your either delusional or willfully making a bad argument. Solely based on willful ignorance of how latency works or pure indifference to care about other peoples right to not be in a laggy sh*tty lobby
-
It does it matches folks on p2p connection so yeah it does lag

It's Peer 2 Peer..........we don't run a hosted server.
It's Peer 2 Peer..........we don't run a hosted server.
^ what they said. We've had extreme SBMM. You are going to run into lag when you are in the US and the "host" is in say Europe. It's not fun when the entire lobby is teleporting and walking into walls.

Or you shoot a guy point blank shotgun and he dies 10 seconds later x)
