Pro Sentinel tip for all the new people trying out Banner Shield/Sentinel for the first time
Hi there! I just wanted to share this tip with all the new people trying out Banner Shield for this first time. I've essentially played exclusively middle tree Sentinel for the last four years, so I figured that I would share a lesser known fact about the super.
- Having allies stand behind your Banner Shield not only gives them Weapons of Light, but it also extends the duration of your super
- (If see the Banner Shield buff with a number after it it means your super is draining slower)
It also says this in the description of the super, but I'm pretty sure very few people actually read those.
I can't remember if the duration increase is based off of the amount of people behind the shield or if its just a set time, but I'm sure someone else will know.

13 RespuestasI think you are talking about Dome of light as it is the only super that gives weapons of light. Also to any titans who block with your shield, STOP PLEASE, you are blocking my shots and not helping the team sentinel shield is supposed to be for offense so bash at the enemy and DO NOT put that stupid shield in my face.

Weapons of light on banner shield actually got a buff too. Now does 40% more damage. Granted that’s still not enough to make it viable for raid DPS as you still lose one guardian for DPS, but it’s gonna be amazing for GM’s

3 RespuestasIf you think about it, 40% is a decent buff but there’s one less person shooting whereas popping a bubble allows everyone to shoot.

2 RespuestasIt also gives a 40% damage bonus. Better than even the old bubble. Folks were worried there wouldn't be a reason to play Titan when the bubble got nerfed. Now we know why people SHOULD play them!

2 RespuestasThe banner shield timer is extended depending on how many people are standing behind it and stacks up to 3 times. Also the weapons of light from banner shield is 40%

1 RespuestaI also notice people here forget to read actual perks and descriptions. People also dont know that standing on an enemy with banner block deals damage and a lot of it in PvP.

YES! Thank you, fellow Titan! I ran a strike earlier today, through my banner up in front of the boss, and the 2 blueberries I matched with jumped over it to get behind him like it was my barricade.
