Little cross save issue if you don't mind taking a gander and help out <3

Hia, I've ran into a little issue here trying to link my new steam account to my cross save. Currently there is an old account that is still linked but unfortunately I no longer ave access to it because I terminated it months ago for plain lack of use not thinking that I still had it linked. I tried to deactivate cross save to attempt at re-authenticating with my new steam account thinking that it would override and throw out the old one since it hasn't been updated in ages anyway. After many attempts, the result was always an error screen redirecting me to the bungie.net home page. I even attempted to authenticate with the old account (duh, I know that it's terminated but a gal does get desperate sometimes y'know) with no luck there either. Any tips/tricks to get around this would be very appreciated. If you've ran into this issue before go ahead and share as well so we might be able to get the higher-ups to take a gander at this and see where we get from there. <3

  • Allo there, Unfortunately you'll need to recover the account with Steam. If that doesn't work then Bungie are not able to unlink it as they don't have the credentials of the account and if it's deleted then there is no account to authenticate anyway.

    • I'm at a similar issue. But instead of a vacant account, I was breached and someone on PSN is playing as my xbox account. I never had cross save enabled but then it became a thing without my knowledge. This happened right after the start of Season of the lost and after 4 posts, getting in contact with Sony, no one is doing anything to help me
