Nice page of babbling BS. PvP is a competitive environment. If you don’t want to improve and learn and get better so you can be dominant. Then don’t play. That simple. You shouldn’t get a baby pool because you want to just sit back chill on your couch and not try, that’s what pve is there for.

  • Destiny pvp (outside of comp or trials) is extremely casual-focused though. It’s not cs, valorant, r6; viewing valor playlists as such is a mischaracterization.

  • This is true. But am not seeing the point.

  • Bro. Some casual players literally Can't train and as most people say, "Get good." They don't have the time because of life priorities. Some people do actually try to, "Get good." and find they have a skill ceiling that they can't break through. Some people are just not ever going to be top 1%. Top 5% Or even top 25% It's just not in the talent set that they were born with. And of course some literally don't care and just want to mindlessly shoot other people, For Fun! Because to them it's Just A Game. And games are meant to be fun and be enjoyed. So you can't just expect everyone to Have to "Get good." Just because you were able to do so. That being said I was just trying to come up with ideas for making the Crucible good for ALL. It doesn't have to be "strict" SBMM it could be "loose" SBMM, or some kind of hybrid. Whatever we can do to get as many players playing in the Crucible as we can; and keeping them playing, the Better. And maybe we can fix more things after that. A lot of this wouldn't even apply to myself. Since I've been playing the Crucible since the Beta of original Destiny. lol. I think me and this guy I've been responding too on another post have some pretty good ideas. He says he absolutely wants lobby balancing to be fixed first. And that makes sense somewhat. Especially since we don't have a ton of Crucible players and neither SBMM or CBMM is going to work well with the lower than needed numbers we have right now. And we came up with an idea about putting in a SBMM that's only for new players... For a certain time period. Like for 50 games completed. Or 60 hours of Crucible play. And then throw them in the regular matchmaking. Or maybe put in a training mode with bots or something. Yeah several ideas. Just trying to find something that helps out the Crucible the best in the long run.
