I'm the problem? Really? It's actually people like you who are the problem with gaming in general. Feedback should always be a big part of games, helping them improve and be more enjoyable. People like you don't understand that somehow. Just because the game has always had this poor raid exotic reward system doesn't mean that it can't be made better and more enjoyable. Let's take this instance. With this system, likely a majority of the raiding player base will get their raid exotic before maybe 20 clears. Some of us, however, will go 40+ without seeing it at all, to the detriment of their experience with the game. No one loses if the exotic is at least somehow guaranteed by the time the seal is available. The people who got it early on will still have the joyful experience, and people who aren't as lucky can rest easy knowing they won't be cockblocked from the seal. Keep settling for mediocrity though. That's a good way to have things grow and expand and improve. Maybe we'll have some mote banking seasonal activities the next couple seasons, and you people who settle for that can praise how exciting and fun the boring weekly slog of doing the same thing each week with little scraps of story in between is as an experience

Yes you are the problem. You keep playing a game thats based on rng despite not wanting rng. Thats not the games fault its yours. Its like someone who doesnt like RTS games going and buying and playing starvraft for decades and complaining the whole time. Rng is a core part of mmos and looter shooters. This isnt a bug that needs fixed its a core part of the game. Why keep playing if you dont like rng? What on earth made you think they would change a core mechanic after 7+ years? Your feedback is basically “i dont like a core mechanic of this game. But instead of playing a game with mechanics i like i want you to change”

I don't care about RNG as a whole. I understand that the game has RNG elements. But this specific system of RNG with the raid exotics is something I don't think is fair, when paired with seal requirements. It's as simple as that. If I work towards the Raid and dungeon glory achievements in wow, I don't have to wait until I have the full raid set and all of the collectable and weapons. I only have to master the raid enough to complete the challenges presented. I'd rather seals in this game be more similar to that. If you disagree, that perfectly fine by me, but don't skulk around the forums attacking people who don't share the same sentiments. You don't even have that much raid interaction, on that account at least, so I don't see why you're so bothered by feedback, but whatever.

Core part of a lot of games out there, many which have far less forgiving rng. At least Destiny has drop protection so you know if you luck sucks you’ll eventually get it.
