Make a PvP playlist that has stasis disabled and see how much people keeps playing the standard crucible. why wont you guys do that? because you know everyone will be there and you want stasis to be powerfull so people MUST buy the expansion.
Anyway, is way easier for you guys to make changes that make "PvE community" hate "PvP community" so we get distracted on were is the actual problem.

The nerfs significantly affected pvp while barely touching pve. Warlock and hunter stasis are both two of the best pve classes still.

Top Void with Rig does everything Stasis does, only better, and Bottom Solar with Celestial is still the best spec for most of the game. It needs good PvE Exos, as it is now, there is just no point in using Stasis in PvE.

Especially top tree, it has horrible neutral game compared to bottom tree and stasis. Stasis is far better at add control. Celestial is not nearly as viable as hunter stasis in high end game content like GMs. It’s better for damage, but that’s not the role of stasis. Bakris makes the double slug anarchy combo significantly better. Hunter stasis already has good exotics.
