It’s because “competitive” pvp is not compatible with the game’s identity as an “action-MMO”.
Pvp in most MMOs not only have a seperate sandbox, they are also contests of build strength, not contests of “skill”.
So as Bungie makes this game play more and more like an MMO—-and this season is really starting to feel like an MMO—-the more and more unhappy pure shooter gamers (especially those on the pvp end) are going to become.
This is why, two years ago, I said that the game was going to change in ways some weren’t going to like.
Sadly, this is only going to get worse, which is why I feel a reckoning where pvp in this game is concerned, is coming.

This kind of absolute garbage is either ill-informed or out and out lies to confirm reality to your premise. The truth is that you should take your own advice And not play destiny or looter shooters, or a MMOs for that matter, because almost every popular MMO features player versus player content, always has, and on top of being relatively popular.
