This seems like a
"someone took all the kills" so I'm angry kinda post.
Strikes are built for 3...
Just because one person is killing everything doesn't mean they need a solo mode.
SPEEDRUNNERS: I have yet to see any of these people... The only people who come close are those who run forward and inevitably die causing you to kill everything, and ignore their res as basically a non verbal FU.
BOUNTY PEOPLE: They are doing bounties...
You know, what they are supposed to do for XP and gear.
Now if they run off into a lost sector..
Here's the solution.
Run forward into a darkness area.
Kill yourself and it will pull them forward.
Easy fix.
Seriously if you do it, they will get annoyed and try and run back but guess what?
Some strikes have this fantastic feature called barriers that's stop them.
They usually get mad and leave, then get replaced by a good player

I get someone trying to speedrun a strike in maybe one in every three I run lmao, I find it incredibly hard to believe that you've never run into someone doing it. Personally I don't even want good teammates, I just don't want any teammates at all. Running strikes solo is a far more pleasant experience.

I meant to say I have yet to see anyone like that this season. Because luckily enough I haven't. Only people I find are bounty spammers and I just pull them ahead easily.

So we always get that random player. If we see them rush ahead, bypassing enemies and die at the first time gate, we both agree not to rez. If I'm feeling especially vindictive, I'll t-bag or emote near them. It's supposed to be a team based activity. Also, if they go inactive, I'll push their a$$ off the nearest cliff and dance around their ghost.

Mate you are LITERALLY the person that doesn't play the strikes. You sit back and take up a slot that someone who is actually decent can use and finish the strike quickly and efficiently. You aren't the good guy here... You are literally that one A hole in strikes we try and avoid and if necessary pull you from your hole.

I do not wish to hurt anyone's experience. I just wish to do what I need to without ultra competition or being pulled. Sure I could construct a personal fireteam but that isn't feasible most of the times.

Mate... I really don't care to be the good guy. I do not present myself to be one. My statement is simple "shouldn't that be a reason for the concept of solo strikes to be implemented"? I played more than enough strikes all the way through. All while trying to complete those bounties that can take prodigious amounts of time if cats are capable of killing like Rambo. Saying strikes are meant to be played as a fireteam isn't a valid enough reason to not implement solos if you have individuals like Cayde-6 who works alone almost all the time.
