Cross save help!

So one night I thought hey I’ll try to enable cross play for pc so when I transfer over in a bit my characters will already be waiting. Well instead I apparently locked myself into only using my pc characters (aka non existent ones) and I’m locked out of my main characters for 83 days because I bought silver. Learned that Bungie is aware of this and managed to find a support ticket request for cross save submitted it like 30 mins after I did this whole thing. Well it’s been 2 days and I’ve yet to hear back, if I’m truly locked out of my characters for the rest of the season than I better get a refund for the seasons pass cause this entire thing has been awful from start to finish. Especially trying to contact bungie to do something about it.

  • Hi there. You set up Cross Save backwards by choosing Steam as the Active Account, which is why you only have access to your Steam characters. Bungie goes through the Cross Save forms only during normal business hours Pacific Time, so if you sent it two days ago, that was Sunday on Monday (which was a holiday), so they wouldn't have gotten to it yet. When you sent that form, did you request that they disable Cross Save or that they switch your Active Account? If you requested deactivation, you will have to wait 90 days before you can enable it again, but they can help switch your Active Account without waiting this lockout.
