Part 7: The feast [b]A couple hours have past since Alberiks and his forces declared Eramis the rightful kell. It's nightfall and lots of camp fires and tents are built. Hive drum sticks and wine are on the menu. Knightlight sits with Eramis and chats. [/b] Knightlight: Is that still you in there? You got stasis back and now your the leader of the Eliksni, or these ones at least. Eramis: I hope so. When we went to Europa we just wanted a home to reunite our people. And I heard a long silent whisper. I don't hear it anymore. Perhaps your modified stasis worked. Knightlight: Hopefully. You picked one hell of a place to call home. Pyramid was right there. Wouldn't something like that scare you. Eramis: No. I was there when the whirlwind happened. We were desperate, I was the only one with our people's interest in mind. I don't hate him as much but that traitor variks helped put our people in chains. Mithrax still clings to that damn machine thinking it'll actually help. Thing only turns on at its own convenience. Knightlight: Well it brought me back to life. And I helped you so in a way it did help. Eramis: [i]Chuckles[/i] Real funny. But where was your machine when humanity was being massacred during the collapse? Or when the "guardians" started rising and ruled liked dictators, killing any humans that disobeyed. It only did something when a giant version of Ghaul was right in front of it. Knightlight: No matter what. I won't betray you, I won't let anyone turn your body into a weapon they'll dismantle in a year. I'll be by your side as you lead, I'll Forsake my vow to the city. Just promise you won't kill the innocent. Eramis: I promise. Plus I killed many risen at Twilight Gap, enough to make 50 Gjallarhorns. Apparently your kind call me the "Archfiend of The Gap." Before I get too ahead of myself, let's drink! Knightlight: to everyone in eliksni. Drinks on me!!! [b]The whole crowd cheers in eliksni!!![/b] Aprico: Knightlight, before you get to carried away. The three guardians looking for Aldway have shown up. I give them word to not open fire, told them these fallen are of House Light. Knightlight: I hope they don't start killing. Not good manners to kill at a dinner. [b]The three guardians show up. A warlock by the name of Katherine, A hunter named Sue, and a titan named Robert. They are approached by two vandals and a captain, weapons raised. The fireteam drops their weapons, Katherine then points at Knightlight. They are granted entry and approach. [/b] Katherine: Quite the crowd you got here. Had no idea Mithrax was a into parties. Sue: He's not. These fallen are House Dusk and the one next to Knightlight is House Salvation. I thought Salvation wasn't on earth. Knightlight: They're not. This is Eramis my... uh traveling buddy! Robert: [i]Laughs[/i]. Blink twice if you're being held against your will. Knightlight:[i]dosen't blink[/i] Robert: I'm kidding. Katherine: Anyways. I thought Eramis was dead. Killed by The Guardian and a faulty glove. Knightlight: And I intend to keep it that way. We'd have the whole vangaurd showing up. Only a handful of people know of her current state. Katherine: And a handful it will be. We're not here for blood, but we know how to make it flow if it comes to that. Eramis: So you don't mind I'm alive? Katherine: Of course not. We need all the allies we can get. Zavala is actually planning to speak to the leader of the Red Legion cabal, A daughter of Calus. They've done more harm to us then the fallen. These are strange times. Knightlight: I'm supirsed he found the time to have kids. He only stops drinking when he has to eat. So what are you here for? Katherine: All I need to know is what happened to Aldway. [b]Knightlight gives a serious stare towards Katherine. [/b] Knightlight: I killed him and his ghost. Golden gun worked well. [b]The whole place goes silent. The stare down continues. Knightlight then starts laughing, Katherine joins in a second later. [/b] Knightlight: while still laughing. I'm just pulling your robe! Some hive wizard did him in. Savathun probably needed someone to torture after all. Katherine: Laughs. We never liked Aldway, we'll wait a week for the strike operation, too obsessed with "for the gap", poor guy started slashing the tower ball when he found out about zavala's plan to talk with the cabal. Let's drink. [b]The party continues. Robert arm wrestles Alberiks and wins. Sue plays the knife finger game with some fallen, one of which loses his hand. Katherine is just on her tablet, not much of a social butterfly. Eramis and Knightlight are chatting. [/b] Knightlight: So what now? Where do our journeys take us now? Eramis: I don't know. We'll probably stay with this group. They need a leader after all. I just hope our people survive. Hope is all we have. Knightlight: They will with good leadership. Eramis: Aww. Come here! [i]They hug and Knightlight kisses her head peice. [/i] Robert: Come on you two lovebirds, I have a story to tell. About the gap. Knightlight and Eramis smile at eachother and follows Robert.
