Part 6 is in the comments [i]Knightlight rushes back towards the cave. Many thoughts are running through his head. He finds a dreg on a pike and jumps on. He throws the dreg off of the pike and speeds away. [/i] Knightlight: If they find her before I do, bad things will happen. [i]Knightlight makes it to the cave and Aprico greets him. Aprico is given a letter. The letter states "only open if I die." [/i] Aprico: Knightlight, you finally made it. I thought the city got thr better of you. If you waited any longer Eramis would've eaten me. [i]Eramis is in her bed, a bandage is covering her wound. Knightlight approaches her smiling. [/i] Knightlight: How are you holding up? Eramis: Not my worst wound. The Guardian on Europa put up a better fight. I take it you found the grafting material and the converter? Knightlight: Yeah I was lucky. The other guy who I got it from is in jail now, Zavala will have fun with him. Eramis:[i]Laughs[/i]I'm glad you made it out. I'm a little bit nervous about the operation, what if something goes wrong and I--- Knightlight: You know I won't let that happen. I'll make sure your safe. [i]Knightlight rubs her head peice. [/i] Aprico: Ready to start the procedure? Knightlight: Yes. [i]Knightlight places a IV into Eramis. The IV uses modified stasis and twilight anesthesia. Eramis is knocked out as a result. A harmonic scalpel with a stasis tip is used to help control bleeding. Glimmer is placed in the Energy Converter for transformation. First the bandage is removed to exposed the affected area. The area is cleaned up and any dead flesh is removed. Once the energy converter is finished Knightlight places the material on the burned area. Before Knightlight does the stitches, he notices something weird with the stasis, he's about to investigate the issue when he hears noises outside. [/i] Knightlight: Aprico, activate one of my frames and stay with it. I'm going to get my rifle and check outside. [i]Knightlight puts on his armor and gets his Polaris Lance scout rifle. The noises outside are rather loud and sounds big. Knightlight exits the cave, he sees a bunch of Eliksni surrounding the entrance, about 200 footsoliders and 4 pikes. [/i] Knightlight: Dammit. What did I do to make them this angry. [i]Two fallen pop out of the crowd, a pike dreg and a fallen captian. They start speaking in their native tongue. Knightlight can understand them. The Captians name is Alberiks, Dusk Baron. The dreg starts to speak. [/i] Dreg: [i]In Eliksni[/i] "That's the lightbearer that stole my pike! He needs to be captured and sent to the lair to answer for his crimes!" Alberiks: [i]In Eliksni[/i] "He will answer in time my friend. Once we kill him I wish to loot the cave he emerged from. Our servitor picked up some signals from the cave and I wish to take that tech so I can trade from spider." Knightlight: [i]In Eliksni[/i] "You can't have any of the Tech and I won't let you enter the cave. I also speak the human tongue." Alberiks: You don't have much of a choice. I hope your life was worth living. Warriors, kill him! [i]Knightlight takes cover behind a rock and starts to engage the enemy. He uses his rifle to kill 4 dregs and a shank. A vandal throws a gernade on the rock causing it to explode. Exposed, Knightlight cast his Golden Gun to take out Alberiks. Before he can take aim a pike rushes in and runs him over ,this knocks away the golden gun. Knowing that he stands no chance in the open, Knightlight heads towards the cave entrance. Some boxes were left outside so Knightlight uses those as cover. Unfortunately while heading to the entrance Knightlight takes a wire rifle shot to the arm. He only has one good arm now so he pulls out his sidearm and starts shooting. A shock gernade is thrown and wounds his leg so he can't move well. The shooting stops and a vandal approaches. It's Alberiks bannerman. Before Knightlight can pull the trigger the vandal kicks the sidearm out of his hand and grabs him. He proceeds to drag Knightlight by the cape into the open and lays him on the ground. Knightlight is exhausted at this point and really can't do anything. The Vandal looks at Alberiks. [/i] Vandal: Do you wish for me to execute him? Alberiks: Yes. Use your sword and give him a hornable death. Vandal: Understood. [i]The vandal readies his sword. Knightlight looks towards the cave then looks towards the crowd of Eliksni. Knightlight whispers to himself.[/i] Knightlight: I hope she reads the letter. [i]The vandal thrust his blade downwards. But just before the blade makes contact the vandal turns to ice. Two withering bIades are sent out from the cave, killing the vandal and a nearby shank. A large figure emerges from the cave. It's Eramis. Knightlight has a shocked look on his face. Alberiks is just as shocked. [/i] Knightlight: Impossible. She regained her power.
