Shin Malphur's beginning
The lore book Ghost Stories: Confession of Hope: parts 1 and 2, details the last few weeks of the life of an unknown Ghost. In his final days, the Ghost revived a toddler who died in a Fallen attack. While fleeing the Fallen, the toddler's parents died and the Ghost left to lead the Fallen away from the survivers, and with how the transmission ends, presumably dies in the process.
Is it confirmed or assumed that this child is Shin Malphur? I have seen a few posts and comments implying that it is at least assumed. It would make logical sense.
When the Ghost left, the toddler was in the care of a scared man and his wife. In the grimoire card The Last Word 2 it describes Shin's second father as very cautious of any one new. In the card The Last Word 3 it talks about Jaren Ward's Ghost taking special interest in him.
I will repeat the question just in case it got lost in that spiel; Is it confirmed that the child in Confessions of Hope Shin Maphur?

Well, it would explain how he has second and third parents.

don’t think so , it was stated in d1 ( i think) that shin malphur is the only guardian who was not revived by a ghost but a ghost chose him and turned him to a guardian. that ghost had a previous owner who is knows as Jared

In lore? No. But a member of Bungie’s writing team, specifically the guy who has written this entry in particular has confirmed it is shins origins. I’m pretty sure it was covered with more details in a byf or myelin vid.
