personally loving cbmm

I know this is the hot topic around these forums lately. of course we are seeing negative after negative posts about cbmm. so im here to show some love to cbmm! i remember way back when destiny 1 came out. d1 crucible was my first EVER pvp experience. learning how to play pvp in THAT crubile state was a mission. but i did it, didnt complain to daddy bungie that better people were destroying me..and now im a bit above average and get about 20-40 kills per game..obviously i have some bad games to, it is what it is for you lurkers out there.. its been quite a few years since d1 not really sure what the matchmaking preferred back then but all i remember was how LAGGY d1 crucible was. remember when you would shoot someone, unload your whole clip on someone directly and they didnt take any sort of damage, did not register until a few second later. remember all the teleporting players, remember getting sick plays then immediately you randomly die b/c the game finally decided to register you being shot at. remember when they displayed everyone's connections in the lobby (green/yellow/red) full of red..always remember seeing/knowing that the connection was so bad in crucible it made you not want to pay. remember those first few ibs..talk about a lag fest. my point is this. connection based will bring a better experience overall. connection based will allow you to grow and get better. connection based will register your shots and prevent people from teleporting. would you rather play a game full of lag..getting all pissy that you cant do anything because of it. or would you rather play a game that has stable connection, where your kills matter a bit more if you are playing against "top tier sweats" . where you shoot and it does what its supposed to. where you ult and it does what its supposed to. where you melee/grenade and it does what its supposed to. where your running and you DONT randomly die. where you see players NOT being an untouchable teleporting wizard. myself, like many others here have dealt with destiny's notorious lag since launch. FOR ONCE it is nice to have stable connection, to go into a game and not worry about anything but the objective. i know its tough out there for you sbmm lovers..please just try a little or dont. but please stop coming in here with this cbmm/sbmm debate. we are all aware that we all have different preferences. if you do not like something...........don't do it.....not one is forcing you....crucible quests are optional ..... if you don't like crucible why are you trying to obtain a crucible weapon that is mainly good in crucible. and most of the quests require participation/ not wins...or hand cannon kills...use crimson and do your thing. its the easiest hand cannon to use. period. (this is all about console btw...pc has their own issues lmao) crucible in its current has been hands down the best connection experience ive ever had playing and i strongly believe cbmm had a little to do with it. even the sbmm playlists feel like they are cbmm! destiny does very well when there is good connection. my internet at home has been the same since d1 came out. maybe bungie got some better servers to i really dont know..all i know is that crucible is fun again. that is all :) i hope everyone is staying safe out there during this darkest timeline. peace.love.cayde
