He was obliterated, along with his gloves. And rise of iron wasn’t ruined, this was a good ending to the very unfinished story.

 • 1. He wasn't obliterated. We literally fought him. 2. Not only that, Rasputin has pieces of his armor. 3. Even if none of that was true it doesn't matter because what we saw was a hologram of Felwinter. 4. There was no unfinished story. Rise of Iron was a very finished story. 5. Rise of Iron was a story about the cost of hubris. Calling the whole thing just a big set-up means there was no hubris. The entire story just becomes about Rasputin being a petty dick.

what was Felwinter’s lie? Why did Rasputin kill all the iron lords instead of just lock them out? Why didn’t Rasputin just prevent them from finding out about SIVA in the first place? Why did the iron lords want SIVA anyway? 5. Rise of Iron was a story about the cost of hubris. Calling the whole thing just a big set-up means there was no hubris. The entire story just becomes about Rasputin being a petty dick. again, people call Rasputin names for killing Felwinter, even though they don’t actually understand the story.... maybe I’ll explain this later.
•
...And then blew up the entire area
Which happened centuries afterward.
two pieces. small ones.
2 > 0
exactly
Exactly what?
what was Felwinter’s lie? Why did Rasputin kill all the iron lords instead of just lock them out? Why didn’t Rasputin just prevent them from finding out about SIVA in the first place? Why did the iron lords want SIVA anyway?
It was a gun. What was Gheleon's Demise? What was Skorri's Revenge? You're making an assumption he didn't try that. Because Rasputin isn't an omnipotent God that can simply erase all records about the existence of something from history. It was clearly explained that they wanted SIVA to do what it was created to do. Cheap and rapid manufacturing to help expand the city.
