The cabal empire is there out there, the red legion was only the strongest legion but not all of the legions.

I feel as though the Cabal have nothing left to throw at us. Unless the Psions overthrow them and become their own race again.

Did you forget the other leaders of the cabal empire? The general of all legions and the daughter of the emperor. Did you forget the pison that turned on her own people and joined them. They are at war with the hive, they have reality cracking weapons and more. The red legion was the best but not everything.

They don't know how to use those weapons though. Cabal (not psions) are pretty dumb. The game even jokes about their intelligence in strikes. They just temper with things haphazardly. Calus' daughter I'm interested in what she can do. I doubt she'll be super strong, because Calus wasn't as strong as he is now and the Pyramids/Savathun/Xivu Arath are probably going to be the biggest threats. She'll probably have her own little season like Nocris and Xol.

They do know how to use those weapons and the cabal empire conquered the pisons. The cabal arent dumb, theres ton of lore that support other wise. They built weapons of mass destruction. They are fighting xivu Wrath right now. The cabal are the greatest at war.

The lore talks about how they are dumb too. You remember the mission where you hacked the Cabal fuel that's used from their masks and ships, or how one of Calus' men tried to mess with the Crown of Sorrow and was taken by Savathun? Or how Failsafe talks about dumb the Cabal scientists are. In D1, your ghost mocks them for how easy their security is to crack. And if any of the enemy faction were to be the greatest at war, it's the Hive. Their origins were made from war. Their magic is far greater than the Cabal's brute strength. The Vex fought the hive for 100 years because of his Sister. And to end the war he "took" them. They tried to simulate Oryx and he took their simulation of him. Now Quira is being used to undo Savanthu's daughter death, and power her greatly. The Dreaming City is stuck in a 3 week time loop, Fikrul and Riven rise again, and that's all from the small time that Oryx entered our Solar System. I'm pretty sure the Hive have destroyed more worlds/life seeing as they are Millions/Billions of years old. If Oryx were alive and went to war with the Cabal, he could just go to Torobatl and take them. There's no Light protecting them from his Will.

And the cabal war with xivu. The cabal went toward oryx with no fear. The cabal took the light. You wanna underestimate a race with planet busting weapons. Reality smashers and more go ahead.

Okay, taking over worlds doesn't mean you are smart. I just means you're a better tactician. They are 800 pound space rhinos with guns and a lot of soldiers. Easily finding warring planets and taking them over don't involve you to be scientist. If some Goliath with armor and a machine gun were to invade a race of high tech peace lovers. They could just steam roll them and take their stuff. You hack the fuel because Asher tells you that they use the same fuel. I don't see how our Ghost being "paracasual" changes the fact that they're not smart enough to use different fuels. Same goes for their easily hackable systems. It takes time for the Ghost to unlock hive rune doors, but it's always a matter of a few seconds with the Cabal. I also don't see how I'm misinformed with the CoS. Calus has a Cabal bred to use the crown, and he was taken by Savathun. That futher goes into my point about Cabal just doing/tempering with things haphazardly. Failsafe DID do something, she informed the Guardians of the Cabal tempering with Vex tech that had the potential of destroying Nessus. She's an ai in a ship. There's not much else she can do but observe and report. I'm going to need you to source where it says that the Cabal are battling against the Xivu's forces. I been reading up on Cabal and Hive lore for the past few days, and I haven't see anything mention that yet. I even checked the Wiki for anything hinting at Xivu's army fighting the Cabal, and I didn't find anything. (Not saying you're wrong about this, I just want to read up on it if I missed anything) As for the Cabal going to Oryx with no fear. That's not true at all. They were sending distress beacons out back to Torobatl. The entire time they were fighting a losing battle. Do you really thing that the Cabal on board that ship could have stopped Oryx? He takes the strongest of the Cabal in our System (before Red Legion) right in front of them. And if by some miracle they defeated Oryx's physical body. There's no way they would have gotten past the Death Singers. If the Hive wanted to, they could just have Death Singers kill waves of Cabal with their songs. If the Cabal knew how to use any of their reality smashing weapons. Then nothing would be considered a threat. Seeing as they can't stop a small city of people, I'll take it as they don't know what they're messing with and they just take things and store them on their Atheneum Worlds.
