Hi, First of, Destiny is a great game, the content delivered is of great quality even if sometimes we have to wait for it ;) TL;DR : Expiring content is really frustating for what I call a casual player ([url=https://braytech.org/2/4611686018486385797/2305843009425956629/triumphs]braytech[/url]) There's something I'm really not found of and I need to let it out. I had a quest for exploring corridors of time that said in game : "Expires at the end of Seadon 9". This quest was fun but a bit long, and well I can't play all day long and there are even some entire weeks where I' can't play the game. And now I can't finish this quest. Now that quest is taunting me in the abandonned quests in Osiris's dialogue. But I didn't abandon it ! In fact I can still get it back but no interaction is possible and I can't get back in the corridors why ? Has season 9 ended ? No it's just because this amazing content was limited in time. It was only there for two weeks. It's really a shame not to have that content stay until the end of the season at least... You're gonna tell me the end of this was advertised in the TWAB, on twitter, well sorry I don't have enough time to follow those, but if you look at my triumphs & collections I think we could define myself as a casual player maybe not the most casual player but still. We can't all be connected all day long and even more some player haven't got in the game yet ! Say I manage to get some friends playing next month I can just tell them this was a fun quest but they won't be able to experience it. They'll have to wait for the next event ? Will they ? Wait for an event that only last 2 weeks ? On a game they're not used to play ? Probably not. What's next step ? Erase Zero Hour instance ? Delete Whisperer of the worm quest ? Close the shattered throne ? Forges was also seasonal content, how long will it still be there ? I'm being dramatic, I know, but that's really how I feel about this. I didn't have a chance to finish last season badge for the same reason and it's less and less appealing to get back in the game because of this expiring content. I feel like I would have prefered not to even begin the quest now that's it's half complete and I know I won't ever be able to finish it. And again that's really a shame because the puzzle was great.
