"Looking at Bows overall" should happen sooner rather than later.

Honestly, next season would be ideal since you already pushed back the Iron Banner Bow for what I assume where balance reasons. Why not just rebalance all Bows while you're at it? Bows are fun, sure. I've got two, not quite god rolled Subtle Calamities to choose from and what I'm guessing is a curated Spiteful Fang (locked in perks rather than optional perks), and they're all fun to use. However, they're also the gimmicky kind of fun rather than the effective kind of fun. Held shots and accuracy falloff the longer the shot is held are probably the two biggest annoyances for me. Especially since I've been finding it far more effective to hip fire my Bows rather than bother with the extra time needed to aim down sights. At most I'll maybe "snap" the ADS as I release the shot because it seems to confuse the accuracy a little. Strangely resulting in more accurate hits (at least as far as I can tell). Also I think there's a bug in regards to Attunment of Sky (top tree Dawnblade) when it comes to holding Bow shots. Whenever I land while holding a shot I drew mid-air, the shot immediately releases regardless of my input. This is a quirk I haven't seen on any other subclass either. So I think it's specific to Attunement of Sky's ability to use weapons while airborne, and it's really annoying. As for effectiveness in general though, again Bows seem more gimmicky than anything. If I need to shoot a target down range I'm better off using a Pulse Rifle or Scout Rifle. If I need to burn something that got too close a Hand Cannon, SMG, Sidearm or Shotgun are all generally more reliable. These are just my experiences with Bows though. The Arsenic Bite and The Vow both felt very underwhelming, No Turning Back doesn't even seem to have random rolls so it doesn't really compare to any other decently rolled Bow, I don't own any of the Raid bows, and Trinity Ghoul is the only exotic bow I own (and honestly it's not that great in my opinion), so I can't speak for any of the other exotic bows. But if Bungie is serious about making a balance pass on Bows then I hope they do it sooner than later, and anyone who wants to voice their own opinions on the effectiveness of Bows should probably speak up now. That way Bungie can get a better idea of where the player base thinks Bows are lacking as a whole. Rather than just focusing on a single one that was only exceptional because of an obvious bug.
