Vex Offensive: Final Scam
So what the actual -blam!-...?
Weeks of build up for "roadmap content". The Final Assault: Undying Mind. Sounds pretty -blam!-ing cool doesn't it? Well I got a -blam!-ing surprise for you. They REMOVED the old Vex Offensive, Added "Final Assault" to the name, made the mobs just a little bit harder, re-modeled the boss and thats it. Go have fun, heres your final roadmap content for this season. Same -blam!-ing tactics as old vex offensive, excatly same objectives. It's like they didnt even try. Oh.. your getting tired of Vex Offensive? Let's slap some new paint on those mobs and release it again. Yeah that should do the trick. -blam!- you Bungie, where do I refund my shadowkeep?
Edit: I would be fine with it would it be free content, but to actually charge money for this garbage is so unreal it baffles me.

I'm kinda new to Destiny and I got myself the full version with Forsaken and Shadowkeep, I was pretty hyped with the buildup for the vex offensive to arrive at that? I really feel like spending my time / money elesewhere at this point, I definitely feel cheated / taken advantage of when the FINAL boss of teh season is just a reskin with the excact same mechanic. My blueberry team and I downed it in minutes.....

Every person on here or reddit who thinks bungie will reply to this or other posts should stop smoking weed. The copy/past thing they do on every post is just ask something, pass it to the deff's and thats it. And still most of us are ready to order the next dissapointment. This isn't bungie's fault, its yours!!! let that sink in.

Here’s what they could have done: Alternative 1: create 3 rotating bosses for the Vex Offensive (1 one of them being the Undying Mind) each with its own mechanics (reusing from events on Nessus, like activating a plate to lower the shield and/or to destroy oracles to lower the Shield). That way the event doesn’t have to be such a big deal in the roadmap. Story wise Ikora can pinpoint the location of the mind during a week an loose it after that and it’s not able to pinpoint it again until two more weeks (like the curse on the dreaming city). Alternative 2: do what you did in the roadmap but in the final assault, the last chest has a higher chance of dropping curated weapons/masterworked armor/mods. That serves as an incentive to keep doing the activity looking for that specific armor/weapon/mod. You can even give Ikora a weekly bounty that will garante a certain armor/mod/ascendant shards/enhanced prism Alternative 3: combine the two with the Undying Mind having the only chance to drop those curated weapons/Masterwork armor/mods/materials. Separate the modes like the nightmare hunts and give the Undying a higher light requirement like 900. Those are my thoughts. Hope it helps.

I don't understand gamers. They complain but don't do anything about it. Would you keep buying stuff from Amazon if half the time it was never delivered? (apparently so because you are paying for content that isn't being delivered) Stop buying silver and you will get Bungie's attention. Complaining doesn't work.

Here people pay for content and not get anything special to see. Bungie you get lazy and lazy with each season.

I really can't believe this is it. I got my 3 kills for the triumph. There is no point in playing Vex Offensive anymore. Seriously, is anyone playing it beyond getting the triumph? 1) Bungie's responses in this forum are too simple to be true. "Oh, you didn't like it? Tell us what you expected". Fishy. 2) The Portal in the Tower. There has to be something to it, right? I mean, if it isn't useable who cares? 3) I think there is something hidden, a quest maybe, that has yet to be discovered, like Whisper and Outbreak. At least I hope so. 4) Bungie had to know the community would not be happy with this as the real Final Assault. They got something up their sleeves. At least I hope so. I love the game, it's a ton of fun. VO was too repetitive for my taste. No reason to play it after I got the weapons. C'mon, Bungie, give us a hint...

The staff they do have are likely overworked, but we all know Destiny 2 is hardly the focus anymore as its life cycle has dwindled in significance and capability. I am looking at you consoles, despite the inevitable denial of the obvious size and hardware limitations. I expect the displeasure will be equitable to the bias. I am glad I didn't buy the expansion and regret even purchasing the season pass. It does continue to amaze me how many passionately defend their purchasing choice, rather than critique the content. The current content was so bland as it should have just been free. Maybe there would be less buyer's remorse and more incentive to actually use the ridiculously over priced Everse. I realize the hype brings sales, but it should be tailored to the scope of the project, not the hoped for profits.

I geared up and played it for the first time a few minutes ago... What a letdown!! It's exactly the same as it was before, only difference being the boss and the enemies a little more stronger. EXACTLY THE SAME! Is this how we "change the world" to make future events happen? Play the same thing for 3 months without any change or climax in the final confront? It's unbelievable, what a low effort team you guys have over there at Bungie. This is not worthy of the money we paid. There's absolutely nothing to make us eager for the next season. You guys just don't know how to create climatic, exciting, deep content anymore. It's just horde modes and more horde modes without even a final, enticing twist at the end. I really miss Bungie (the Halo maker Bungie, not this thing you are now).

I'm not surprised... oh well, maybe a bit surprised over the fact that people are surprised by this? Still very happy though I didnt buy Shadowkeep or spend any money at all towards this season.
