no no they arent 1.52 M yesterday 500k on ps4 alone 600k on PC 390k on xbox As per DestinyTracker
-
DestinyTracker totally wrong. 600k on PC, so funny. Steam stat more true then destinytracker https://store.steampowered.com/stats/Steam-Game-and-Player-Statistics
-
Except that what you linked only shows a peak of ~126k destiny 2 players
-
That's peak not the amount of different logins played in 1 day.
-
Correct, but unless I’m missing something, there’s isn’t a place saying there are 600k active users either
-
Editado por DARKDANCERUK: 11/13/2019 4:01:16 PMTrue I guess, I would be surprised if it was 600k but it is definitely greater than 126K
-
Ouch man.. You nailed the guy.
-
no no they arent 1.52 M yesterday 500k on ps4 alone 600k on PC 390k on xbox As per DestinyTracker
That is still low for a game that was supposedly one of the top-selling games and now free to enter.
-
you are stupid.
-
Thinks for the bump ;)
-
-
What other games in the same Genre can you base that on?
-
Why does there "need" to be other games to base this off? on top of it knowing DT creates a false count the numbers that that guy posted is literally false.
-
I wanted to see how you could judge if the numbers are low compared to other top selling games. If there are no accurate figures how can you base the statement on anything? No need to get defensive.
-
I wasn't defensive, it's just how I word things at times that may seem that way. Take CoD for an example, it's just a PvP game that has never really changed in years, yet it keeps a healthy player base. Destiny is a PvE/PvP game. The numbers should be a lot higher for the type of game it is but it's not because of how bad Bungie messed up and changed the entire game from when ROI left off and they constantly keep making poor decisions. Its the hardcore fans that been around since Halo days that made up the player base. Case and point, D1 had 3 million and D2 has not even come close to that in the entire time it's been out.
-
Fair enough, apologises if I misinterpreted. But if the figures as you state are not accurate how do we know, what are the daily log in figures for Cod? I'm not sure but I would have thought D1 had lower figures at this stage of its life cycle than D2. I agree the game could be better but its not a disaster and I still enjoy it but I will probably play a bit less until the next content drop.
-
Destiny tracker counts Gambit as PvP and Luke asked DT to hide the numbers being shown for D1. When Bungie failed and embarrassed themselves trying to say the player base was lying about the base game losing 80% of the player base is when all that came out.
-
That's fine and dandy but you still have not answered my question about the current situation.
-
I'm sure there are links you can look up for CoD if that is what you're referring to.
-
I've looked there aren't.
-
Bungie hastily threw together Rise of Iron as a last minute dlc to keep the playerbase happy, otherwise we would have been looking at a whole year with no new content. Player numbers jumped incredibly high after its release and stayed quite high until D2 launch where everybody jumped on over to that Since D2 launch, numbers have declined from a high of around 10 million or so at launch to what we have now. Jumping up briefly whenever a dlc comes out and disappoints people with ever increasing shady tactics
-
My clan folded a couple of months after ROI and no one on my friends list were playing either(all hardcore players) so I doubt it could have been that high. Personally I've never noticed any shady tactics, the amount of new content sometimes disappoints slightly but that is only because I want to play more.
-
Your experience was very much a minority one at that point
-
Possibly, but I can only judge by experience.
-
I would agree if it was like this day one of launch of shadowkeep.
