Can we make skyburners oath an anti barrier gun?
I mean, anti barrier rounds do this guns job and more, i would see this as a good buff to bring it into to meta. If it is a thing about having an exotic of each, then a possible overload candidate could be trinity ghoul, and for an unstoppable weapon, maybe Jotunn?
I just want to see a bit more use out of skyburners really.

Skyburners Oath has got to be a bottom 3 exotic, and is worse than any legendary scout imo. Definitely needs some kind of buff besides anti barrier, maybe like 20% more damage like Graviton got.

Honestly I think Bungie should assess all the exotic weapons and look into assigning those with archetypes synergistic with the artifact (smg, hc, bow, ar) for unstoppables, overloads, and barrier across the board. It'd be a great way to introduce more unpopular exotics to the use pool.

1 RespuestaThe more I think about it, adding anti barrier rounds to sky burners would actually make it a viable exotic choice in pve! Obviously it would be even better this season with breach refractor around, but even once that gone being able to shoot through enemy defenses is SUPER usefull and would be worth the exotic slot!

With skyburner i completed the scout kills for the randy. The slow firing mode is pretty meh, (it feels like it has completely no aim assist although im on the head, and I am losing almost every gunfight against jade etc.) but the fast hip-firing mode is super fun... And besides it is pretty viable against roaming supers

That should be an inherent function of the gun.

2 RespuestasThe easiest solution is just to add a mod slot to all exotic weapons. This issue is just going to rear its ugly head again with whatever weapon mods they introduce in the next season pass.

I think unstoppable would be better for it as it does explosion stuff like other unstoppable weapons. Hard light should be anti barrier because of the piercing effect it has like other anti barrier guns

2 RespuestasRelax In next portion of content they will invent some new stuff for new guns so you will forget shield piercing weapons. These shielded enemies will only annoy you with their gun requirements. This is evolving world now. Enjoy =*

4 RespuestasI feel eriana vow should be both anti p and unstoppable. Would give it a lot more use by population, could pair it with an overload primary and all the champions are covered.

Acrius should be Unstoppable. Wish-Ender should be armor-piercing. Xenophage should honestly have all three, maybe it'll be worth using then. All trace rifles should be overload. Etc etc etc. Bungie just missed a huge opportunity to make exotics worth using.
