I'm not very ok with this. Yes we can farm it and it's cool ( especially the 950 with a fireteam) but the 980 nightfall take 40 to 60 min and the Rewards are trash. Of course there is ascendant shards in it but it's a very low probability to get one. I do it for the triumph and now i don't really care anymore about that one. 980 nightfall need a total rework to have more reward of a better chance to get those rewards. The system is great, the rewards aren't great.
