I agree with everything apart from recluse an toaster.
Jotun: I very rarely get killed by it.. just move out of the way. I'd rather keep it as it is so people keep using it thinking it's good. Other fusions are so OP.
Recluse is fine. It has high recoil and not everyone can use it. If you know someone has it keep an eye on the kill feed. Learn to back up. Play them at range. Push when you know they dont have the perk.
OEM is just broke. I agree with all you said. It's getting nerfed anyway so all is well.
Heavy- I rarely use it. I let other people grab it or just use it to get rid (obviously I kill with it, not just blow it anywhere) it makes people congregate in a certain area meaning kills are easier and more predictable as they are all swarming for heavy. I'm happy either way on the heavy staying or changing.

Recluse doesn't have that high recoil, and even if it did, it doesn't matter, that's the point.

Are you on console or PC? On PC its a laser beam but on console not so much

Console. The recoil isn't different from any other 900 SMG, in fact it's probably better than most 900, besides Exit Strategy which benefits from threat detector stacks.

900 smgs have a high recoil (I play ps4.) If you dont have the perks active its a bog standard smg. It's a play maker. You wont believe me when I say this but to be good with it you do have to be tactical. Not everyone can pick it up and instantly melt with it. Probably why you dont use it. They are easy enough to play against you have to play smart. Play the range. You dont need to run away. You can tell when one is close.. use sound, you have a radar let them come to you at a distance you can kill them at. Look on the feed to see if they've had a kill. If they have back the f up. Or see if they're weak. Stay near team mates and make sure you're in a good position with an exit from gun fire. Its common sense, watch some YouTube. High skilled players. Learn from your mistakes. I checked out your comp games looks like you've hit a wall. You need to mix up your gameplay. I play against them fine. I use it and do well with it. But if I wanna sweat its dust rock, NF. Look at legend gameplay nobody uses it. It isnt the meta. If its nerfed it's just gunna be erentil, LH & NF with shotgun apes. I know what I prefer.

Use it then.. sort that awful comp negative KD out. I didn't see a game with you above 1.00. If it get nerfed you'll see worse things trust me. I've hit 5500 comp. I'm at 4.3k now. If that gets nerfed I'll just dustrock, NF all day long.. which is way worse. I play snipe + recluse for fun not sweating.

Its easy to hit 5500 when you use a 0.4 TTK body shot SMG. Lemme guess, you use Stompees or OEM as well? I don't even care about Comp, it's still terrible, heavy is garbage and there's double the special ammo necessary for a 3v3. I just wanted Revoker, and then Recluse for PvE but I'm already bored with it because it's an uninteresting weapon. Also "sort out your KD" Aside of from just being some creepy weirdo who spies on other people data like the Chinese government, that's not correct. I have bad games and good games, depends on map, depends if broken stuff that hasn't been nerfed in 12 months is in the game.

What do stats have to do with anything? I almost never played comp before shadowkeep, because matchmaking wasn't fun, and 4v4 was bad, then in one night I got to 2100, and I've only done my weekly matches since then, and got Revoker. I couldn't care less about Comp. Also the idea that you have to be a hard-core pro 5500 to know what's up with the main game, is nonsense. In fact, you probably know less, because all your games are just with the same sweaty losers being boring, using the same load outs.

I'm fine and happy using the meta. I enjoy killing people not putting together a picnic and taking a romantic strole over to the next respawn. If I had your stats I'd be wanting to nerf everything to the ground too. But unfortunately it wont make your pvp experience better because theres always going to be people better than the both of us. If you cant beat them join them or play smarter with your unique loadouts.

Like do you even do anything in the game besides PvP? Have you even played enough of the game to actually try stuff like Last Word, or Thorn, or other Exotics, or Exotic armour or weapons, that aren't just 4 different weapons? Because if so, hey, if that's what you enjoy, fair enough, but you're in the wrong game, and just ignoring 95% of the content, and the entire point of Destiny as a whole, and that's sad.

Yeah I have TLW. I enjoy the PVP too much. I will play PVE to get something I'd like for PVP but other than that it's not really for me. I like the intensity of PVP. PVE doesn't give the same sort of buzz for me. Not much pve offers me the rewards if like for my time playing it

That's fine, and especially with the game being free, I 100% expect more people who just PvP to play it. But the game was designed to be about varied loadouts and weapons, but it's not been reflective of that recently, hence my post.

Also I'd like to say, I may be classed as a try hard or sweaty player but I do not play quick play ever. I ONLY play comp and iron banner. Making me think that pinnical weapons should be returned to there former glory and locked into comp and leave us try hards to melt each other in 0.003 seconds while quick play can be for the more chilled pvpers

It never really has though destiny 1 was the same. I played a lot of pve on d1 (the rewards were worth it.) You NEEDED to have set loadouts to even join a fire team lol. I have no real reason to enjoy pvp. The rewards all look like cr4p. Bungo saves the good stuff for eververse. But the other reason I dont is for functionality to play pvp how I like to play it every stat has to be how I want it to be or else it's not good. Looking pretty but doesn't do what I want it too ends up dismantled.

No-one cares about your boring e-dick, and even high level players think your cringe. Nobody actually likes playing against you. Not because you "reck them", because your dull. If you wanna be that, that's fine. I never said, nerf NF, or nerf Dust Rock, or nerf Stompees. But accept the fact everyone thinks your load out is toxic and not remotely fun to play against, and everyone would enjoy themselves more if you didn't exist. That's the PvP I care about. I wanna fight people using all kinds of stuff, because it's interesting to fight different stuff. Crimson making a come back is enjoyable. Scouts being back is fun. Not 300 matches against your 2 loadouts, because you're boring.

Lol you cant use it at 5500 like I said before its dustrock and LH until you get Not forgotten. If I want to sweat I'll put on dustrock and not forgotten. Not the recluse. I use it for fun along with my sniper (I have more kills with my sniper than recluse) Nah I dont have a titan. I use stompees yes. They are the only viable hunter exotics. When you play 5500 you HAVE to use meta.

I use the guns that kill people best. Just like any normal person would. I play to win and get rage messaged because I beat someone so bad or complimented. I love the killing the entire enemy team single handedly.. that's what I play for. Not to "try out new stuff and go in with the worst loadout I can find"

Yeah, so a sweat try hard. I'm not interesting in that, and most people aren't. Same way people aren't interested in dealing with overpowered garbage like OEM or a Erentil with less range fall off than a Hand Cannon The difference is, we can ignore you because you get shoved into your own matchmaking pool where you can get ignored forever. People want to run stuff thats fun, not meta, and not unnerfed for 3-16 months. People want to do quests, bounties, complete catalysts ect. I use Thorn most of the time, unless the map is too long, but that's not been an issue till recently so I'm messing around with what I like until I find a gun I enjoy. Not interested in "bumping my KD" so some loser who uses 4 guns for 10000 hours of his play time to not shame me, like anyone actually cares. Go back to being a dullard in crucible without a new pinnacle weapon.

If you dont try "try hard" how do you expect to get anywhere? You cant go into pvp with a slingshot and a pea shooter and expect an [i]Interesting[/i] game. Nor would you run a raid in all blues just for the sake of it. Hate to break it to you.. but cant all be Rose's in your skill level if you're moaning about recluse, oem and heavy. Because I don't want to "get anywhere", I just want to have a fun PvP game. I already said I have no interest in Comp while heavy and map congregation is as bad as it is, so I'm not interested in ranking up there besides just stopping decay. After that...What else is there to even "get"? It's just PvP. It's just a game, where I want to have fun. I'm saying certain things are encroaching on that fun, because they're not balanced. I had a bunch of good games today, and all the good ones were just fun maps and barely anyone just abusing stuff everyone hates. But then I spend time working on Suros catalyst, and get teams of Erentils with better range, for no deserving reason, and everyone is aware that it's an issue. Not everyone has to be some soulless try hard, proving nothing to nobody, and making every match boring, by using the same load out as everyone else.

I can see your perspective. I think we both have different expectations from games. I'm a very competitive player. I like to play to win and be at the top. I actually enjoy the guns that I use. I like to use the same guns because I play better with them because I know them inside out. This is bungies game. Something will always be broken. They will never get the game totally balanced. The answer isnt nerf everything its nerf some things make a lot of other things better. I agree with you on some points that you make (OEM, erentil) We both get enjoyment from the game in different ways mate. Were always going to disagree on this

Okay, but I don't asking to nerf everything. Hell, I said REMOVE OEM, for the sole fact that it's lazy and bad design, and nerfing it would just make it useless. I've wanted Bungie to buff scout, assault rifles, pulse rifles, sidearms forever, because I love stuff like Polaris Lance, and Vigilance Wing, and Rat King. Now they're better. The main issue is that there's such little focus on sandbox balance in general. Lord of Wolves being the way it was for 3 months is unacceptable, and any other game wouldve been on it in a week or 2.

I think they struggle having 3 different sandbox's to try and balance into one. If the made a pve box, pvp box and a pc it would improve the balance a lot. bungies solution to "fixing things" is nerfing it. Oppose to buffing things that are underwhelming. When they change those things and start listening to feedback I think this could be an amazing game
