I was doing a taken king mission in d1 when I noticed something. The ghost scanned it and said this: [quote]Pod #10201. A guardian with exceptional light sealed himself inside. He said the last war was enough for a thousand lifetimes.[/quote] At the end of halo 3, master chief sealed himself inside of a cryo pod and it was said that he would be in there for years. Now, seeing as bungies last halo game was 3, I think that they completely disregarded halo 4 and 5s story because they suck and were made by 343. So, I think that destiny takes place hundreds of years after halo takes place.
