Bungie, you guys are not good at reward/grind
The game is mechanically good to play but good god you guys expect the most insane grind. It's not fun, it's not content. It's a pain in the ass and it burns us out trying to get somewhere. -blam!-ing stop it
It's not enjoyable to spend like months trying to grind out a higher level.

They won't even let us chose the grind. It's all kill Cabal with scout rifle head shots, or kill three baddies rapidly with a pencil charpener. Everything is specific to what they want and no thought is put to the fact that we hate certain weapons or certain activities. Why not say, kill 180 enemies, using the weapon of your choice, on the worlds that you enjoy - or is that against "The Team's" rules? I don't think that "The Team" even plays the game, because it's a miserable grind!

3 RespuestasWatching how armor has turned out has been the biggest bummer to me. And the worst part is they literally destroyed all the god rolled armor we had collected in armor 1.0 to force us to regrind it all — and now it appears that armor 2.0 fully maxed isn’t even as good as armor 1.0 god rolls. Bungie are going backwards again but I guessed they would without the addition of High Moon and Vicarious Visions to bail them out constantly anymore. Bungie are just completely out of touch with gaming.

1 RespuestaThis game is pretty good in terms of reward/time. I spent 100 hours in GuildWars to forge a sword...a single item. I can leisurely attain every single weapon/gear piece in Destiny, at any pace I want. Y'all don't know the struggle.

I guess I'll forget about masterworking armor ever since I need what, 140 enhancement cores to upgrade a SINGLE piece? out of all the 920 Nightfall Ordeals I've gotten maybe 2 enhancement prisms and a couple enhancement cores. I've done the 950 twice and received nothing both times. The idea of running an incredibly difficult strike for a low % CHANCE for a material which I'll need several of is demoralizing, and makes me not want to participate at all. I can't even imagine the 980. Imagine running through that with a full team and getting nothing. With being under-light it would require a well built team of three to maybe be doable, and you're telling me, after all that, I *might* be rewarded with a single ascendant shard, of which, I need several, to upgrade armor. Insane.

7 RespuestasI don’t understand you honestly. 1. It’s the easiest it’s EVER been to level up, Blues level you up for goodness sake. 2. It’s REALLY easy to farm for rolls on the guns you want currently. Just look at the Vex Offensive it drops two weapons per run and more if your doing the quests at the same time. What grind specifically are you referring too?

1 RespuestaI don't see the problem with grind at the moment, it's never been easier to level up to hard cap 950. Getting to 960? Yeah sure, sounds like a shitshow but why does that matter? If your sole reason for playing the game is hitting am arbitrary number then I think you have much bigger issues with the game than the amount of grinding. There's plenty problems with this release, my own top picks would be lack of loot, nightmare hunts being utterly pointless, and vex invasion being static with no changes to encounters or not even a rotating final boss. The grind isn't one of the problems though

They have to make insane grinds for certain items because the lootpool is so shallow that if we didn’t have those grinds we would have everything we wanted with the right perks within a short amount of time.

My delete button has been getting a workout with IB though, more stuff I don't want than I can shake a stick at! The only need to be above 950 that I can see is the master level stuff. I'm going to wait for +21 artifact (maybe a slight bit of pinnacle increase but I'm not counting on it) before I bother. Being less than 10 LL under usually isn't very noticable.

AllThngs You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

12 RespuestasI remember doing VoG and god damn were the rewards worth the effort >< now well it’s so cheap on rewards that only 1% of community even take part in raids. How sad.

You know, after Forsaken, Shadowkeep looks pretty casual for me. What ever I do, I got something intresting or helpful. While I did quest for new shaders and new SMG in Gambit, I get pulse rifle with pretty good rolls, couple spare rations and almost god roll scout rifle. And I even don't speak about all stuff I got from battle pass ranks. Game now don't ask nothing special for you, but give you stuff. Even IB quest are a summer walk now.

They literally made the grind the easiest thing possible. What are you talking about??? 1. Every activity grants a powerful reward 2. Competitive playlists require completions and don’t require you to WIN 3. Blues drop from just about any activity to help increase light all around after obtaining a boost

I think the vow catalyst is a solid example Im not gonna use that gun for hundreds of activities just to get 3 more bullets and autoloading sure it can be done over time but i would rather use guns that are actually fun throughout those activities

10 RespuestasI agree and disagree. Sometimes the stuff is unrewarding, othertimes it’s rewarding. Like Randy’s. It is 100% worth the grind. But I am anticipating that Edgewise is not so worth the grind.
