Log in to Bungie.net using your Steam credentials. Go to account settings then accounts and linking. Click the red Unlink button next to the account you wish to unlink.

unlinking the acct does not work for me. When i go to unlink and try to link my PlayStation acct it says The account you attempted to verify is not linked to your currently logged in account. Please try again with your linked account for this platform. So with that said how do i unlink and remove that acct all together because my other acct has already pre ordered the witch queen and everything.

If the message you're receiving is after entering the credentials for the account you are trying to unlink that indicates the log in credentials you're entering don't belong to the PSN account you're trying to unlink. Also, you cannot unlink accounts that are involved in cross save. So if you have cross save enabled the Unlink buttons should be greyed out on the linking page.

Hello, I have the same problem but with Battle.net account and I can't unlink it do I have to make a new Steam account? Thank you.

So you still have a Battle.net account that shows up in your Accounts and Linking set up? If so, you won't be able to unlink it yourself because Battle.net accounts can no longer be authenticated on the bungie.net website.
