Specially for those of us real veteran players of the first game that earned it the first time around. It should have been brought back both with the original quest and for those that earned it ... it should be available direct from collection

I got mine from The Vault of Glass.... It dropped from Atheon. So yeah, I earned it.

I never got either Gally or Mythoclast to drop for me. Witnessed several others get it and some multiple runs in a row (which really pissed me off tbh one person got it 3 Crota runs in a row.) despite quite a few runs through it. At least the raids were fun though so there’s that. I always preferred Truth anyway even after getting Gally from ROI quest. Of course that was post nerf Gally and pre nerf Truth. Post nerf Truth I never touched again. A single rocket mag is completely worthless for raids. I’d sooner shoot Crota with Icebreaker than one rocket. I never use rockets in d2 for the same reason. I’ll stick with Hammerhead machine gun (till I get an exotic one) and Worldline Zero for other things myself, lol.

It's still rng. I got mine from killing crota, everyone was jealous.

The whole damn game is RNG! But it's not like you could have it drop from doing a regular strike you had to be doing endgame content. So if it wasn't a nightfall or raid the odds you weren't likely to get it unless Xur had it..
