Recently, the item vanished from my quests and I haven't been able to pick it back up. I have done the other 3 forges, but the Gofannon forge is still missing to complete the exotic quest. Without the item I'm unable to unlock the forge. Is there a possibility to re-aquire the stolen equiment or to unlock the 2nd forge through another way?

Hi again, you no longer need the stolen black armory gear to access the Gofannon forge. Forges are now on a daily rotation and can only be launched from the map view. As long as you have completed the introductory mission to the Black Armory you should have access to every forge when they rotate in.
