Cant turn on cross save because i have a playstation account linked
When i try to activate cross saves it wont let me since i havent authenticated my playstation account. I do not know the password for the playstation account and a password reset wont work. I tried just unlinking it since the account wont be used in the future but of course it requires a password for the playstation account.
Need help getting rid of it as i dont want to contact sony support for this. The account has never touched destiny at all. I only ever played on xbox and pc.

[b]I would suggest contacting Sony concerning recovering your PSN account.[/b] This will save you a lot of trouble and let you keep your current Bungie.net profile. If you are unable to gain access to your PSN account, then you will not be able to unlink it from your current Bungie.net profile. If you're trying to set up cross-save, then your only option will be to create a new Bungie.net profile and then unlink/relink the accounts you actually want to that new Bungie.net profile. Just keep in mind that if you go with the new Bungie.net profile, you will lose access to the code-granted bonuses you've redeemed on Bungie.net because those are tied to your current Bungie.net profile. If you don’t have the password, then you can’t authenticate or unlink it. Plus, Bungie won’t simply unlink it for you. You will need to work with playstation support to get the login information for that account. Otherwise, you will need to create a new Bungie profile with the accounts you do have the credentials for. However, this will reset your profile time & will remove any emblems that you used codes for.
