IF bungie was to re-impliment SBMM as well as ad regional servers , they could boost thier casual gamer population by in upwards of 1m , but for the sake of argument let's half that number to 500,000nas our control number and I dunno let's go with 20,000 hardcore players willing to move away from the game and let's factor in base price of 59.00 per game unit . So 500k new casual gamers at 59 per unit = 29,500.00 dollars 20,000 hardcore gamers = (-) 1.180,000 dollars Total difference of 28,320,000 So catering to hardcore PVP gamers is potentially costing Bungie 28 to 30 million dollars in lost revenue.. Less revenue means less content , fewer sandbox adjustments, alternate modes like trials , I.E impacts the quality of the game at every level. You might be good at the game , but I don't know of many business that would hire you, if your basic business strategy is to insult and Chase off paying customers.. -

Not sure how it's a loss to bungo considering we still buy they game and it's expansions so that we can play what we'd like on it, we are still consumers so your point is invalid, it also doesn't help bungo for have 10 tic servers, yes it saves money but they loose thousands of players due to rage because they're headshots don't connect because of hit registration, and getting killed through walls because of client sinc.

So the game is all about you , and what you want and what fits into your life style . Lower skilled players, beginners only exist for your entertainment and you will support any system that prevents them from gaining experience and skill and potentially sticking around , instead you would prefer to lean on bungie to continue to supply you with players who don't know any better to beat up on because clubbing baby seals in the arctic is illegal .. There have always been a contingent of PvP players who have weathered all storms, including myself, until the new ranking system went into effect which encouraged cheating via all manner of manipulation at a scale before then unseen. Trials was the haven of the true sweats. That got eliminated and we've got what we have now which you seem to enjoy. That's fine. when SBMM comes to roost, again, join in any of the other PvP modes that don't have it. I'll take sweat over stomp any day of the week.

I haven't played a lot of PvP since the new ranking went into effect. I chose not to participate in the flawed system because it was so annoying. That's not a flaw. That's a choice. Your limited experience cannot be extrapolated to the rest of the community. 40 days is hardly hardcore. And leaving a match, really? That tells me a lot about who you are.

Everyone huh ? So D1 barley had any sort of player base because of SBMM , that same lame 1.1 million player base that hated SBMM like you claim purchased D2 , then dwindled down to it's lowest numbers to around 9% 5 months post launch, due to poor endgame / static rolled weapons ( insert what you disliked about vanilla D2 here ) SBMM was removed from the game , lots of theory's abound here .. but raw data suggests that long que times due to low population could have been the driving undercurrent , just like the low PC population caused comp que's above mythic to be in excess of 30 minutes for 1 match. Myself since you took a pill of all the players but skipped me is ... I prefer a large player base , SBMM and short que times .. that's what I like .. As far as noobs got , have you ever stopped to consider that they play a few rounds , get stomped by higher skilled players bosting better weapons and gear , get frustrated, wander off and run a few strikes and then maybe just go find a different game to play.. just a thought anyways your the expert here -
