Unfortunately, at this time, there is no way to reduce or remove the 90 day lockout. If you'd like to request or suggest a change, please head over to Destiny 2 - Feedback and leave your desires there. In the meantime, though, you have no option but to wait out the lockout. I'd also suggest insuring that you have all of the correct accounts linked so it doesn't happen again in the future. Unlinking is done from your Bungie.net Settings page.

  • Finally someone who is a bit more helpful than the rest of them. Who only say: "Wait out the 90 days. Period." I'm somewhat in the same boat. Enabled cross-save when the wrong battle.net account was linked. Have another battle.net account with everything destiny related already purchased. Wanted to enable cross-save for this account instead. So I disabled cross-save and wanted to re-enable it for the right battle.net account, but now I have to wait 90 days... Would really appreciate if you could help us with this issue. I've been looking all over the forums for a solution, and it's pretty clear that there are many others with the same problem... If this really is impossible to do tho, can you please re-enable cross-save for the battle.net account i used in the first place? I'll just have to buy everything for the third time... But rather that, than to not be able to play with my friends and my clan for the upcoming expansion.

  • Sadly, as I mentioned above, currently, there's no way to reduce or eliminate the lockout. It's built-in and part of the cross-save system, and as such, it's pretty much unchangable once it's in place without a major endeavor on Bungie's part. I would highly suggest heading over to the Destiny 2 - Feedback forums with your issue and any ideas you may have to contribute that may help to alleviate the issue for you and others; that's where the main teams that deal with such things read up and notice when major requests become a big deal. I'm just a regular mentor here, a forum helper, and as such have no way to implement such changes for you, so posting in the Feedback forum is definitely the best thing you can do at this point. Beyond that, it's a wait and see game. Just make sure while you're waiting that you do as I recommended to the original poster above; make sure you have the correct accounts linked so that when you enable cross-save again in the future, it's what you intend it to be instead of what you did accidentally.
