Hi there, I've been playing Destiny 2 on the same system specs for ~3.5 weeks without any issues, but since the latest patch has been released, I can only get the game up to or over 60fps on the first play session on a fresh install. Before I explain the issue, here are my current specs: CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 2700X GPU - AMD Sapphire Nitro Rx480 8G RAM - 32GB DDR4-3000 I'm currently using a backup GPU, but it too ran the game flawlessly all the way up to 1440p. Three days ago, I came home to grind some more on the Solstice event, and I was greeted by a harsh, stuttering mess of 22 frames per second at the absolute best. I tried to change resolution, alt tab, restart the game/pc/blizzard app, highest and lowest video settings, closing all background processes, removing the other display I had hooked into the GPU, overclocking/underclocking, updated all of my drivers, and even went as far as looking into changing the polling rate on my mouse before I finally decided to uninstall the game entirely. After the excruciatingly long download process for bringing 94GB of data from the internet to my computer had finally finished, I launched the game without any issues and getting the regular 80-90 frames. I played for approximately 4 hours and proceeded to close the game whenever I was finished. The very next day, when I came home from work to play the game again, I was met AGAIN with the seriously low frames. I repeated nearly every step from paragraph 1 again, but I still can't play the game. I don't know if there's an issue with the patch that they sent out for the game, or if perhaps my backup GPU is about to kick the bucket. If anybody has any ideas that don't revolve around re-downloading the game every time I go to work so I can play it that evening, then I would appreciate the help.
