[PC] [EU] Rise Again | Active, Experienced, Friendly | Weekly Events | Active Discord | Raiding and Crucible | Hilarious Jokes |

Greetings, Guardians! Thanks for all your applications, recruitment is now closed! Hope to see you all in-game whether you joined or not. - Ezekiel
Rise Again is a newer clan comprised of old-guard players; we have been going strong for a month, and have a great core of members. Now, having reviewed and removed inactive members, we’re once again recruiting for the best, the brightest and the burliest Destiny 2 has to offer! We had a huge outburst of interest the last time we posted, and gained some amazing new recruits. Now with limited availability, we’re searching for specific experience, hairstyles and loadouts (shame on you, Lord of Wolves abusers! You can’t see it, but I’m shaking my fist angrily as I write this.) But first, let me tell you a little more about us... ________________________________ What are we about? Primarily, our belief is that gaming time should be about fun, above all else. Being part of our community should enhance that fun, and never detract from it. We will not put huge pressure on anyone during any activity, treat them unkindly, or expect unreasonable achievement from players. Improvement is always an admirable goal, but it won't be made through toxicity of any kind. Similarly, we want all of our members to engage with each other, hang out, chat and enjoy playing the game with real friends, and making memories. ________________________________ What content do we do? All of it. We have Crucible veterans, experienced Raiders, seasoned Gambit players - if you name the activity, we’ll know how to do it, and you’ll find someone interested in playing it. We’re interested in lore, gameplay, and do play other games together, so most players will be a great fit no matter their interests! ________________________________ Are we open to newer players? Sadly not, for this particular recruitment cycle! With just 15 remaining slots, we’re being very discerning with the players we accept to fill those places. Those we already have are great, and we want to keep that up. ________________________________ Requirements Discord - This is the major base of our clan and community. Whilst it’s important for voice communication during endgame activities, we also use it as a text chat platform to discuss the game, share tasteful memes, and chill with friends. Friendly Attitude - We want the Clan to be a place people want to be, so it's important to be welcoming, friendly and relaxed. Raiding (5+ of each Y2 Raid) and/or Crucible Experience - We have very few slots, and are aiming for people we know will contribute, communicate and get involved. With multiple events running per week, there’s almost always something to look forward to, be it impressing Shaxx or defeating Gahlran. We prioritise players who are experienced in those fields. ________________________________ Sort-of Requirements? 18+? - If you’re 17, or 16, or something similar, we won’t hate you, this requirement can be and has been broken, but we basically aim for mature clan members who won’t bicker unnecessarily with one another. Region? - We are primarily based in Europe, but we do have a few NA players - you're more than welcome to join if you're from anywhere, and on the weekends we have a few who play into the morning. Just be aware of our regular time zones, obviously this will improve the more NA players we get too, but we can't give you Shaxx-level surety on that one. Personality? - You’ll be given an opportunity to showcase this during our true application process on Discord, but it’ll drastically improve your chances of being accepted if you’re Cayde-level funny, Shaxx-level crazy, or have Devrim-level puns. We find players with these to be some of the best people to raid with and fight alongside. ________________________________ Contacts: Novoki#2517, Ezekiel#22500, Msi98#2858, Mayhem#21680 Discord: https://discord.gg/SqsNzYk Clan Page: https://www.bungie.net/en/ClanV2/Index?groupId=3801253 ________________________________ Thanks for taking the time to read this! If you’re interested, join our Discord first to apply; bear in mind, our clan will appear full on the clan page - this is because anyone who has applied takes up a slot, even without being approved. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask here or on our Discord I hope to see you all in-game.
• I feel compelled to leave a post here. First off: I've been playing Destiny 2 since release. On and off. I could never really understand why I quit in the first place, and why I would subsequently come back, but I seem to have cracked the code, as it were: People. Friends. Clan mates. Always the answer, just never plain to see for me. I would always start playing Destiny with hopes in my heart and stars in my eyes. So much to see and to discover. So much to experience! Indeed, the game, at least for me, was the perfect game, and still is today. The concept of the game appealed to me. But I would end up quitting within a month, because I would hit that spot where I would realize I need to form a Fireteam. But see: I was always too scared to talk to strangers. I always thought that everyone in Destiny was elitist, and would yell and scream at me if I did something wrong. So I ended up quitting every time when I reached that ceiling where progress required Fireteams or PVP. Fast forward to when I heard about Shadowkeep and all it's offerings. And Moments of Triumph. It was all just so appealing to me. So I ended up buying the Annual Pass, and searching the Bungie forums for a Clan. Oddly, the first one I found was Rise Again. I applied to join, and was accepted, then jumped into the Discord. And for some reason, I signed up for a Raid. Immediately I regretted my impulsiveness when I was asked to join the chat room as communicating is key in a Raid. But I steeled myself and thought: "Hey, if I mess up I'll just quit and uninstall". My very first Raid was the Last Wish. I was freaked out to say the least as I had no idea what was going on. But lo and behold: Everyone in the Raid was super chilled, and super nice. The first encounter took almost an hour as we were three new players, but the Veterans just kept on repeating the steps, explaining the mechanics, encouraging us after a wipe, and stuck with us to the point were it became a bit late and some players had to go. I ended up completing that Raid 2 weeks later. Since then, I've gotten many hard to obtain Exotics (I'm bad at jumping puzzles), improved my aim, Reset my Valor, raised my KD beyond 0.2 (yeah, I was really bad, I now average between 0.68 and 1.7 - Good for me) and raised my Triumph score to 33k. Because I want to be better. I want to be for someone else what these Mentors were for me. These people have taken me under their wing, and guided me to better myself. If you are like me, and really don't know how to progress past a tough point in the game, feel free to join Rise Again. You have nothing to lose, but everything to gain.
