Unfortunately the GAME employee gave you the wrong info. The forsaken annual pass doesn't include forsaken. Since you've already redeemed the code, getting a refund probably won't be possible and you'll need to buy the forsaken collection. Keep in mind that inside the collection. Everything before forsaken is thrown in free.

So I need to pay extra to get the two DLCs I already own rather than buying forsaken on its own? Very annoying. Thank you for your help though, guess I need to dent the wallet further now to be able to play the game again.

Leading up to and well into year 2, Forsaken expansion was sold by itself for $40 and the Annual Pass was a separate item. Now, Bungie has removed the standalone Forsaken and instead, for the EXACT same price of $40, players needing it can buy the bundle, which also includes Destiny 2 core, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and the Annual Pass for FREE. See that, you get everything else for FREE. You are not paying any extra money than when Forsaken was sold by itself. You are paying the same price, but getting more for FREE. I am not understanding why some people are complaining. You are getting 4 FREE items for what Forsaken by itself was costing a year ago. Why are people complaining about getting stuff for free?
