We’ve seen a handful of Exotics now - Arbalest, Fighting Lion back in the day - where the primary ‘draw’ has been equipping a Heavy weapon type in a non-Heavy slot. I’m saying, wouldn’t it be cool for a handful of exotics to go the other way? Bungie has to have a few exotic designs they’ve been holding onto simply because they can’t balance them against the current crop of exotics, and I’m saying - screw balance, just make ‘em Heavy! Auto rifle with explosive rounds? That’s a Heavy! The long-awaited return of the Zhalo Supercell? That’s a Heavy for sure! A bow that fires piercing rounds equivalent to a linear fusion rifle? Oh, you better believe that’s a Heavy! (Full disclosure: I might just want to run around with three separate hand cannons equipped, because I have a ten year old’s version of what’s ‘cool’. That’s a definite possibility.) So... just me, then?
