I don't do crucible, I really dislike it but I feel your pain. There are things they could do, like level and skill match making but also make it easier for you to find a team. So much they could do to make this game better. For me the biggest is Match Making for Nightfalls and Raids...... actually match making for everything... I'm sure you all know, I've said this A LOT... I have no doubt this will get down voted... as it usually does.

There is no proof but most hardcore pvp players agree that Bungie secretly implemented more skill-based matchmaking and lobby balancing sometime after Forsaken released. Just no lol It honestly boggles my mind that some people are still wanting this... ESPECIALLY after the Forges, the Reckoning were complained about nonstop in regards to blueberries being incompetent or leaving before the activity started. They literally had to make the Menagerie not be fail-able to compensate for the fact that it's matchmade lmao If you truly think that matchmaking for raids is a good idea, you simply lack perspective
I have no doubt this will get down voted... as it usually does.
I wonder why...

  • You guys keep thinking locking stuff behind LFG and Clans is a good idea and see where that gets you. You see how good that's done over the course of it's life span. I'm sure I won't be missed but how about the millions who no longer play? I have a feeling most of they had the same problem with the game I do.

Not everything in the game should be matchmade... period. Why are you willing to throw yourself into a crapshoot raid that could take 4+ hours but not willing to spend a few minutes on lfg to find a solid team? And for the record, I’d love if there was an in-game lfg, but of course Bungie made a system called “Guided Games” that’s designed for people to get carried by clans and it failed. They need to just make a pure lfg system in-game where you can browse a list of people and choose who to invite. It would be awesome if it displayed their stats that pertained to that activity, too. But I bet you even if they did this, a lot of people would still use the app because it’s just easier to navigate on a phone. And actually, I think Bungie’s decision to keep matchmaking out of pinnacle PVE content has worked out quite well. Sure, people -blam!- about it on here but I guarantee you 90+% of them don’t quit. Bungie already tried making Destiny for everyone when they came up with that streaming pile of over-casualified Destiny 2 vanilla, and 85% of the player base was gone by Curse of Osiris. They now know that the way to make Destiny and its player base bigger and better than ever is to double down on what Destiny is and make it the best version of that. And that is NOT a game that is catered ONLY to solo/casual players. They’ve said they’re moving more into the MMO/RPG elements and for every player that “quits”, 2 players will come into the community. Especially since it will be free-to-play. You can say what you want but I guarantee you the player base will continue to rise as long as they give us good content.

  • Nightfalls would be good....raids on the other hand probably wouldn't work due to no communication between players.

  • Match made raids would be an utter nightmare, Now nightfalls i can agree with but raids usually take a bit of communication, and by a bit i mean a lot. Plus the biggest issue with this is that not every person has a mic or is willing to go to the voice chat and far to many people would just quit because they want an easy carry. If people are petty enough to leave a reckoning run after one failed attempt, then those same impatient people will leave after a Single wipe

  • I'm not saying you're wrong, but I've had thousands of failed attempts with LFG. I feel like the need more fire team activities (3 man) bc it's still difficult to get 6 capable ppl together lol

  • That is right, many are having the same problem without match making. I really don't know why anyone cares at all. I surely woundn't.
